How do I set up the Sencor SWS THS50 weather station?

Insert batteries into the outdoor sensor first, then into the base station. The base station will automatically search for the sensor. If connection fails, press the CHANNEL button to resync.

What does the 'comfort' indicator mean?

The comfort indicator shows indoor comfort level based on temperature and humidity. A smiling face indicates comfortable conditions (20-26°C, 40-60% RH), while a sad face indicates uncomfortable conditions.

Why is the outdoor sensor not showing any data?

Check that the outdoor sensor is within range (up to 30m open area). Ensure batteries are fresh and installed correctly. Try pressing the RESET button on the sensor. Also, avoid placing the sensor near metal objects or electronic devices that may interfere with the signal.

Can I add more than one outdoor sensor?

The SWS THS50 supports only one outdoor sensor. For multiple sensors, consider a multi-channel model.

How do I change the batteries?

Open the battery compartment on the back of the base station or the outdoor sensor. Replace with new batteries of the same type (AA for base, AAA for sensor). Dispose of old batteries properly.

Does the weather station have an alarm?

Yes, the base station includes a built-in alarm clock. Set the alarm time by pressing and holding the ALARM button, then adjust with the UP/DOWN buttons. Activate or deactivate by pressing the ALARM button.

What is the weather forecast accuracy?

The weather forecast is based on barometric pressure trends and is for reference only. It provides a general outlook (sunny, cloudy, rainy) for the next 12-24 hours but is not as accurate as professional equipment.

Can I mount the base station on a wall?

Yes, the base station has a foldable stand for table use and a slot for wall mounting. Use a screw (not included) to hang it on the wall.

How do I reset the min/max records?

Press and hold the MEMORY button for about 3 seconds to clear all recorded minimum and maximum values for temperature and humidity.

What should I do if the display shows 'LL.L' or 'HH.H'?

LL.L indicates temperature below the measurable range, HH.H indicates above the range. Move the sensor to a more suitable environment and check batteries.

• When power is on, first signal of temperature and humidity (SWS THS only) will send out after 15 second. Then automatic send signal of outdoor temperature and humidity (SWS THS only) every 58 second.
• Use “CH” to switch channel 1/2/3
• Press “TEST” to into test mode, this function for production only.
• Press “C/F” to switch Celsius temperature or Fahrenheit temperature.
