FUNCTIONS OF THE BEER DISPENSER SYSTEM
In the chilling compartment of the beer dispensing system there is a keg chilled to a set temperature. Various keg adapters ensure the connection of various kegs to the dispensing system. Compressed air is generated by means of a pump, which is located inside the dispensing system. This compressed air is delivered to the keg, creating excess pressure inside the keg and enabling the beverage to be drawn from the keg. The beverage is easily poured through a tap.
SETTING UP AND CONNECTING KEGS
Unpack the appliance and all accessories and check that the appliance including accessories is complete – see chapter "Description of the appliance".

Attention:
Always transport the appliance in the original packaging to avoid damaging the appliance. Store the packaging in a safe location for the purpose of further transport. Dispose of packaging that is no longer used in accordance with other legal regulations in the given country.
Assembling
- Select an appropriate location.
- Place the anti-scratch underlay (e.g. a rubber mat) (Pic. 4/2) on which the appliance will stand. This will prevent scratching the surface.
- Insert the tap handle (Pic. 1/5) with the mark facing forward. The tap handle needs to be pushed into the holder with appropriate force.
- Remove the protective film from the drip tray (Pic. 2/3).
- Place the drip underlay (Pic. 2/3) into the drip tray (Pic. 2/3) and insert it under the beer dispensing system (Pic. 1/1). Check that the drip tray is not protruding to avoid tipping it over accidentally.

Attention:
The feet of the appliance (Pic. 4/1) have sharp edges, which may scratch a fine surface.

Warning:
Do not connect the power cord to a power source or turn the appliance on yet. To prevent any possible accidents caused by the entry of liquids into the appliance, connect it and turn it on only after installing a keg. Instructions for connecting the power cord and turning on the appliance are found in chapter "Turning on and cooling".
After connecting the appliance it is necessary to wash it out thoroughly.
EN-7
Washing out for the first time
Before first use, all parts must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any health damaging liquid remains, which could cause serious illnesses or potential health complications.

Warning:
Use the appliance only after all its parts are clean. Using the appliance when it is dirty may cause serious illnesses or potential health complications.
- Remove the hoses which have already been set up at the appliance:
- connecting hoses
- air hoses
- A more detailed description of the cleaning process can be found in chapter "Care and maintenance".
- After cleaning the appliance for the first time you may connect kegs – see chapter "Installing a keg".
INSTALLING A KEG
When connecting kegs it may happen that liquid will flow out of the appliance due to an operating mistake or due to the kegs being pressurised more than usual. For this situation prepare the following:
- Bucket to catch excess liquids.
- Sufficient number of towels for wiping the excess fluids.
Wear suitable clothing on which potential spraying or staining will not matter.

Warning:
Liquid remains may contain bacteria and pathogenic substances, which may cause serious illnesses or potential health complications. Check that the appliance and all accessories have been thoroughly washed out before every use. Wash out the parts where you are not sure whether they have been washed out or not – see chapter "Care and maintenance". Wash out all parts every time a keg is replaced.

Attention:
Before use, store kegs in a location where they will not be handled. A keg that has been shaken is highly pressurised. This causes the formation of a large amount of head and may cause the connecting hoses to come loose. Keep these over-pres-surised kegs for at least 1 day in a location where it is certain that they will not be handled.

Note:
We recommend the kegs be chilled in advance to prevent excessive head (froth) formation and subsequent problems with the connecting hoses. You may chill the kegs by placing them inside the appliance without connecting them.

Attention:
Do not place kegs in a freezer. The contents of the keg may freeze and the keg may be damaged. Never use kegs that are damaged or dinted in any way.
EN-8
The procedure for connecting individual keg types is described below:

Check that no liquid has entered inside the appliance (excluding the chilling compartment). If you find any liquid then under no circumstances should you turn the appliance on. Contact your vendor or an authorised service centre for repairs.

Pic. 38
Turning on
- Check that the keg is correctly connected.
- Close the lid of the appliance (Pic. 1/4).
- First connect the power cord to the power socket on the appliance (Pic. 38/1), then connect it to the wall socket.
- Turn on the appliance using the On (I) / Off (O) indicator light switch. 38/2).
Cooling
- Use the temperature control dial (Pic. 38/3) to achieve the correct temperature.
- Anticlockwise "H" (Turn right) Increase the temperature
- Clockwise "L" (Turn left) Decrease the temperature

Note:
Setting the temperature using the temperature control dial has a fundamental effect on the temperature of the beverage. It is necessary understand that cooling or heating the entire contents of the keg may take some time. The temperature in the chilling compartment is shown on the temperature display. 1/2).

Note:
The temperature is measured outside of the keg and so it is possible that sometimes the shown temperature may vary from the current temperature in the keg, it depends on pre-chilling.
- Wait until the keg is chilled to the required temperature. The chilling time may vary depending on the initial temperature and the size of the keg.
- It takes approximately 5 hours to cool down a 5-litre keg from 25°C to 5°C.
- It takes approximately 1 hour to cool down a 5-litre keg from 10°C to 5°C.

Attention:
Never leave kegs in a freezer. The contents of the keg may freeze and the keg may be damaged.
Important notice:
On the underside of the lid there is a switch used to activate and deactivate the pressurisation of the keg.
If the switch is in the top position, the pressurisation function is activated. If the appliance is connected to a power source and the main switch is in the ON position (on), the pressurisation function will be activated when the lid is closed.
If the switch is in the lower position, the pressurisation function is deactivated. Pressure deactivation can be used in the event that you first want to only chill the keg and then later connect it to the draught system.
POURING BEVERAGES
- Take a clean rinsed glass and place it under the tap.

Warning:
For hygiene reasons make sure that the tap is not submerged in the beverage. Beer that has dried on to the tap may spoil head formation.
- Pull the tap handle towards you and pour yourself a glass. Pouring with the tap handle half open may result in a large amount of head being created.
- Release the tap handle at the right time to stop the pouring process.
- Pour another beer if necessary.

Note:
Regularly inspect the drip tray when pouring. Pour out the contents of the drip tray if necessary and rinse it.
You may begin pouring beverages as soon as the keg is connected and the appliance is turned on. Nonetheless, we recommend that you wait until the liquid has reached the desired temperature. Beer froths a lot when its temperature is too high.

Attention:
Do not store kegs with the bottom facing upwards, they could tip over.

Note:
The appliance is loud. While the appliance is turned on the pump automatically starts when air pressure falls below the required level. As soon as the correct pressure is achieved the pump turns itself off automatically.
Ask your supplier about the optimum temperature for your beverage, the correct type of glass and the typical pouring method for achieving optimal results.
TAKING THE KEG OUT OF THE APPLIANCE
If you are only pouring froth then the beer keg is empty and it is necessary to replace it. If necessary you can also remove partially empty kegs.
- Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket.
- Hold a glass under the tap and press on the tap handle to release excess pressure in the keg. A small amount of beer will flow out of the tap in this step.
- Once beer stops flowing out of the appliance, release the tap handle.
- Open the lid of the appliance.
- Pull out the air hose.

Note:
It may be difficult to pull the air hose out. It is necessary pull firmly.
- Pull out the beer hose from the adapter and lift it up.
- Again press the tap handle so that the hose is completely empty and leave the tap open.
- Pull the beer hose out of the tap.
- Release the tap handle.
- Take out the keg.
- If you wish to store the keg, place the keg with the adapter attached into a refrigerator. If the keg is empty, remove the keg adapter.
- Thoroughly wash out the appliance and all accessories.
STORING KEGS
You can store kegs in a turned on appliance for various lengths of time. Always leave the appliance turned on when maintaining the required temperature in a keg.
4-litre and 6-litre kegs have a system installed, which separates the injected air from the beer. For this reason beer may be stored in the keg for longer.
You may store the kegs in the appliance for several days (see printed material that come with the keg for more information), if you pour at least once per day. Otherwise remove the keg from the appliance and store it in a refrigerator. Connect again if necessary.
The 5-litre beer keg does not have system that separates the air from the beer. Therefore the beer should not be stored for longer than 24 hours in a turned on appliance. The beer will spoil within 24 hours.

Warning:
Check the brewer's information on the beer keg labels.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Take off all hoses and take the keg out of the appliance.
