Frequently Asked Questions - ST100N Eldom

How do I load staples into the Eldom ST100N stapler?
To load staples, open the top cover by pressing the release button. Insert a strip of standard 24/6 or 26/6 staples into the magazine with the points facing down. Close the cover firmly until it clicks. The stapler is ready to use.
What is the maximum paper capacity of the ST100N?
The ST100N can staple up to 30 sheets of 80 g/m² paper. For thicker stacks, reduce the number of sheets to avoid jamming.
Can I use the stapler for temporary stapling?
Yes, the anvil on the ST100N is adjustable. Rotate the anvil to the 'pin' position for temporary stapling, making it easy to remove staples without damaging paper.
How do I adjust the stapling depth?
The stapling depth can be adjusted by sliding the metal guide on the base. This allows you to position the staple from 10 mm to 50 mm from the edge of the paper.
What should I do if the stapler jams?
First, open the top cover and remove any jammed staples using tweezers if necessary. Check for bent staples and replace the strip if needed. Avoid forcing the mechanism.
Is the Eldom ST100N suitable for heavy-duty office use?
The ST100N is designed for medium-duty office or home use. For high-volume stapling, consider a heavy-duty model. Its metal base ensures durability for regular tasks.
How do I clean and maintain the stapler?
Clean the external surfaces with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use water, oil, or solvents. Periodically check for staple dust and remove it with a soft brush.
Where can I buy replacement staples for the ST100N?
Replacement staples are widely available. Look for standard 24/6 or 26/6 staples at office supply stores or online retailers. Eldom also offers compatible staples.
Does the ST100N have a safety feature to prevent accidental stapling?
Yes, the stapler includes a safety lock that prevents the handle from being depressed when not in use. This reduces the risk of accidental injury.
What is the warranty period for the Eldom ST100N?
The ST100N comes with a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your purchase receipt for warranty claims.
