Frequently Asked Questions - SVC 9020RD CLEENO SENCOR
How do I start the robot for the first time?
Place the robot on the charging dock and charge it fully (about 4-5 hours). Then press the Power button on the robot or remote control. The robot will automatically start cleaning in Auto mode.
How do I clean the brushes?
Turn off the robot and remove the dustbin. Use the included cleaning tool to cut away hair tangled on the main roller brush and side brushes. Clean them every 2-3 uses for optimal performance.
How do I replace the battery?
The battery is located underneath the robot. Unscrew the battery compartment cover (refer to manual Section 5), disconnect the old battery, and connect a new 14.8V Li-ion battery. Reassemble and dispose of the old battery properly.
What should I do if the robot gets stuck?
First, press the Pause button on the robot or remote. Remove any obstacles around the robot. Check if the cliff sensors are dirty; wipe them with a dry cloth. If stuck on a rug, the robot may need a virtual wall to avoid that area.
How do I set a cleaning schedule?
Use the remote control to set the current time. Then press the Schedule button, use the arrows to set the desired time, and press OK. The robot will start daily at that time in Auto mode.
Why is the robot not returning to its dock?
Ensure the docking station is plugged in and placed against a wall with clear space on both sides. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and dock. The robot may have difficulty if the battery is very low; manually carry it to the dock.
How often should I empty the dustbin?
Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle or when the dustbin full indicator lights up. Press the dustbin release button, remove the bin, open the lid, and dispose of the contents. Rinse the HEPA filter monthly.
Can the robot clean on carpets?
Yes, the robot can clean low-pile carpets. It automatically increases suction power on carpets. For high-pile carpets, the robot may get stuck; it is recommended to use Spot mode on such areas.
What does the remote control do?
The remote control allows you to manually drive the robot, select cleaning modes (Auto, Spot, Edge), set schedules, and control direction. It also has a Clean button to start or pause cleaning.
How do I troubleshoot if the robot does not start?
Check if the battery is charged (the Power indicator should be lit). Ensure the main power switch on the robot is ON. If still not working, try resetting by pressing the Reset button (pin hole) with a paperclip (refer to manual Section 6).
