self familiar with the heated shawl / wrap before preparing it for use or using it for the first time. Please read the following operating instructions and the important safety instructions carefully. Use
the heated shawl / wrap only as described and for the stated areas of use. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the heated shawl / wrap pad on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.

This heated shawl / wrap is designed to warm the human body and may not be used as an underlay. This heated shawl / wrap is not intended for use in

hospitals or for commercial use. In particular it must not be used for babies or infants, persons who are insensitive to heat, helpless persons, or animals. Any use other than that described here or modification to the heated shawl / wrap is not permitted and could lead to injury and / or damage to the product. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage caused by improper use.

Please observe these safety instructions and pass on this operating manual together with the heated shawl / wrap.

CHILDREN! Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. Danger of suffocation.

SHOCK! Do not use the heated shawl / wrap if it is damp. There is a risk of electric shock.


Do not use the mains power cable for purposes for which it was not intended, e.g. for hanging up the
heated shawl / wrap, carrying it or to pull the plug out of the mains socket. Keep the mains

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not insert needles or pointed objects into the heated shawl / wrap.
There is a risk of electric shock.

Ask your doctor and, if relevant, the manufacturer of your heart pacemaker before you use the heated shawl / wrap. The electric and magnetic fields generated by this heated shawl / wrap may under certain circumstances interfere with the operation of cardiac pacemakers. However, the levels are far below the permissible limits: details of these levels can be found in the "Technical data" chapter.

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
AND RISK OF INJuRY! Before every use, check the heated shawl / wrap carefully for signs of wear and / or damage. If you find such signs of damage, if the cables are damaged or if the heated shawl / wrap has not been used properly, it must be returned to the manufacturer or to a dealer before it is used again. Improper use, wear or damage can result in considerable dangers for the user. There is a danger of electric shock and injury.

persons lacking knowledge or experience in handling the heated shawl / wrap or have limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, must not use the heated shawl / wrap without supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety. RISK OF INJU RY FROM

BuRNS! This heated shawl / wrap must not be used by children unless the control 1 has been preset by a parent or other responsible person, or unless the child has been instructed sufficiently in how to use this heated shawl / wrap safely. There is a risk of receiving skin burns.


CAUTION! Take care that you do not fall asleep while the heated shawl / wrap is in operation. Excess-long use can cause skin burns.


CAUTION! Do not use the heated shawl / wrap on any part of the body that is inflamed, injured or in. Seek medical advice before using the d shawl / wrap if in doubt. Such inflam- n, injuries and / or swelling may other- vorsen.


CAUTION! Repairs must only be carried out by specially trained personnel or at a repair shop authority the manufacturer, since special tools necessary. Improper repairs may result in tolerable dangers for the user.


CAUTION! If the power supply cord of this heated shawl / wrap is damaged, it has to be replaced by manufacturer, a repair shop approved by manufacture or a similarly qualified person to avoid any danger. Risk of injury!
Important safety instructions / Safety system / Preparing the product for use

Avoid damage to the heated shawl/wrap!
■ Please ensure that you:
- Only connect the heated shawl / wrap to the voltage indicated on the label,
- only use the heated shawl / wrap in conjunction with the control 1 indicated on the heated shawl / wrap (label),

do not switch the heated shawl / wrap on if it is folded or bunched up,
. do not squeeze or jam the heated shawl / wrap,
- do not cause any sharp creases in the heated shawl/wrap,
- do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase or washing basket, on the heated shawl / wrap when it is switched on,
- do not place any source of heat e.g. a hot water bottle or similar items onto the warp when it is switched on.
Ignoring this advice may damage the heated shawl/wrap.
Do not cover the control 1 and do not place it on the heated shawl / wrap when the heated shawl / wrap is in operation. The electronic components in the control 1 of the heated shawl / wrap cause the control 1 to heat up slightly during operation.
Do not pull, twist or crease the cables. Ignoring this advice may damage the heated shawl/wrap.
●Safetysystem
Note: the heated shawl / wrap is equipped with a safety system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the heated shawl / wrap from overheating by automatically switching off in the event of a fault.
If the safety system switches the heated shawl / wrap off automatically as a result of a fault, the function display on the control 1 will no longer light up, even when heated shawl / wrap is switched on.
☐ Please note that, for safety reasons, the heated shawl / wrap must not be used after a fault and must be returned to the service address indicated.
● Preparing the product for use
Note: The heated shawl / wrap may smell of plastic the first time you use it, but this will disappear after a short period of time.
Lay the heated shawl / wrap over your shoulders in such a way that the dark side is facing your body.
☐ If necessary, fasten the press studs 4 on the front side (fig. B). There are additional press studs 5 in the arm region (fig. B).
☐ To begin, first connect the control 1 to the warp with the plug-in connector 3 (see fig. C).
- Switching on/off/Selecting the temperature
Switching on:
☐ Set Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 on the control ☐ to switch the heated shawl / wrap on.
Note: The function indicator illuminates after the heated shawl / wrap is switched on.
Switching off:
☐ Set Level 0 on the control ☐ to switch the heated shawl/wrap off.
Note: The function indicator decreases to illuminate.
Selecting the temperature:
☐ Just before using the heated shawl / wrap, set it to the highest temperature setting (level 6). This will cause the heated shawl / wrap to warm up quickly.
☐ If you wish to leave the heated shawl / wrap on for several hours, set the lowest temperature (level 1).
Preparing the product for use / Cleaning and Care

Note: The heated shawl / wrap switches itself off automatically after about 180 minutes. The function display on the control 1 then starts flashing.
☐ Then select the setting 0 and after about 5 seconds, reset the heated shawl / wrap to the desired temperature setting to switch it on again.
☐ Switch the heated shawl / wrap off (setting 0) and pull the mains plug out of the mains socket if the heated shawl / wrap is not to be used after it has switched itself off automatically.
- Cleaning and Care

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK! Always remove the mains plug from the socket and the plug-in connector 3 with the control 1 from the heated shawl / wrap (see fig. C) before cleaning the heated shawl / wrap. There is otherwise a risk of an electric shock.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not reconnect the control 1 to the heated shawl / wrap until the plug-in connector 3 and the heated shawl / wrap are completely dry. There is otherwise a risk of an electric shock.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND/OR OTHER
PROPERTY! Never switch on the heated
shawl / wrap to dry it. There is otherwise a risk of an electric shock.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND/OR OTHER
PROPERTY! Do not use chemical
cleaning or scouring agents to clean the heating pad and control 1. Ignoring this advice may damage the heated shawl / wrap.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND / OR OTHER PROPERTY! Never immerse the
control unit 1 in water or other liquids. It may otherwise be damaged.
☐ Use a dry, non-fluffing cloth for cleaning and care of the heated shawl / wrap and control 1.
☐ You can dampen the cloth and use a little mild liquid detergent to remove more stubborn dirt from the heated shawl / wrap.
The heated shawl / wrap is machine-washable. Set the washing machine at an extra washing cycle for delicate items at 30 °C.
For ecological reasons, please only wash the heated shawl / wrap together with other textiles. Use a mild laundry detergent according to the manufacturer's instructions.
☐ Please note that frequent washing will cause wear to the heated shawl / wrap. It should therefore be washed no more than max. 5 times in a washing machine throughout its useful life.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND/OR OTHER PROPERTY! Please note that the
heated shawl / wrap may not be dry cleaned, bleached, wrung out, dried mechanically, mangled or ironed. Ignoring this advice may damage the heated shawl / wrap.

heated shawl / wrap up to dry with pegs or similar. Ignoring this advice may damage the heated shawl / wrap.

We provide a 3 year guaranty starting from the day of purchase for any material and factory faults of the heated shawl/wrap.
Storage
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND/OR OTHER PROPERTY! Before putting it away, let the heated shawl / wrap cool down. Otherwise material damage could occur.

shawl / wrap from becoming sharply creased, do not store other objects on top of the heated shawl/wrap. Otherwise material damage could occur.
☐ If you do not intend to use the heated shawl / wrap for any length of time, store it in the original packaging in a dry environment and without weighing it down.
●Disposal

The packaging and ancillary packing consist of environmentally friendly materials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility.

Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household rubbish!
In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC (covering waste electrical and electronic equipment)
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper use.
·Wearparts. - Defects that were known to the customer at the time of purchase.
- Damage for which the customer was responsible.
This warranty does not affect the customer's legal rights.
The customer must provide proof of purchase in order for any warranty claims within the warranty period to be honoured. Claims under the warranty within a period of 3 years from the date of purchase are honoured by
