What is StyleAdapt™ technology?

StyleAdapt™ technology uses a sensor to learn your hair's unique characteristics and automatically adjusts the air temperature to a personalized heat level for optimal styling. The indicator spins during use to show it's adapting.

How do I use the diffuser attachment?

Attach the diffuser to the dryer by twisting clockwise. Use the lowest speed setting in StyleAdapt Diffuse mode. For curls, tilt your head upside down and gently place hair into the diffuser bowl, rotating the dryer slightly. Avoid high heat manual settings with the diffuser.

What is the True Cold Shot button for?

The True Cold Shot button releases a stream of cool air to set your hairstyle in place. Press and hold the button while drying to lock in the style.

Does the dryer remember my settings?

Yes, the memory function automatically defaults to the last mode and speed used each time you turn on the dryer.

How do I clean the hair dryer?

Allow the appliance to cool. Remove the inlet grille (as shown in the manual) and clean it with a soft brush or cloth to remove dust and lint. Replace the grille before use.

What should I do if the dryer overheats?

If overheating occurs, the dryer may stop or blow cold air. Immediately unplug it and clean the inlet grille. If the problem persists, stop using and contact customer service.

Can I use this hair dryer near water?

Warning: Do not use near bathtubs, showers, basins, or other containers with water. Always unplug after use. Installing a residual current device (RCD) in the bathroom circuit is recommended for additional safety.

BASIC HAIR CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Featuring Intelligent StyleAdapt™ Technology, the PROluxe You Collection is designed to learn, adapt and personalise the heat to your unique hair.

• Wash and condition your hair as normal.
• Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.

Note: This appliance is not recommended for use on synthetic wigs or hair extensions.

HOW TO USE THE PROLUXE YOU ADAPTIVE HAIRDRYER

1. Attach diffuser/concentrators by fitting them to the front of the hairdryer and twisting clockwise to lock (Fig. A). Take care when you do this because the attachments can become hot during use.

TIP: Holding the cool shot button for a few seconds before removing accessories can help to reduce their temperature.

1. Plug the product into the mains power supply.
2. Slide the on/off switch ( ⏻) to switch on.

STYLEADAPT™ MODE

1. When first switched on your dryer will be in StyleAdapt™ mode. The StyleAdapt indicator on the dryer handle will spin (Fig. B) and Quick Dry will be shown on the display.
2. Select the desired mode using the 🔒 button. Each press of the button will select a different mode. The mode will be shown on the display:

1. Select the desired air speed using the speed selector ( ✉) button. The hexagons on the display will show the selected air speed:

1. During styling the StyleAdapt indicator will spin (fig. B) indicating that your dryer is learning about your hair and adjusting the air temperature to a heat that is personalised to you. The temperature changes are not shown on the display but happen quickly and automatically during styling.

MANUAL MODE

Manual mode allows you to use your dryer in the same way as you would use a normal dryer.

1. Press the button several times until the display shows Manual and the StyleAdapt indicator goes off. Note that in manual mode, your dryer will no longer be learning about your hair and adapting the heat.
2. Select the desired heat and speed setting using the speed selector (✗) button. The hexagons on the display will show the selected setting.

To set your style with cold air, press and hold down the button whilst drying.

MEMORY FUNCTION

Each time you use your dryer it will automatically set itself to the last mode and speed used.

TIPS

• To create smooth styles and shape use the slim styling concentrator and a round hair brush (not included) whilst drying.
• For fast drying use the highest speed setting and wide drying concentrator.
• To help maintain your curls natural shape use the lowest speed setting and diffuser attachment. Turn your head upside down and gently place your hair into the diffuser bowl slightly rotating the dryer as you style.
• To create extra volume at the roots of the hair, keep your head upright and place the diffuser against the top of your head. Gently rotate the hairdryer allowing the diffuser fingers to gently massage the scalp being careful not to burn the scalp. Dry gently on the low speed setting.
• CAUTION: Do not use the diffuser on the highest manual heat setting.

STORAGE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away

• To maintain peak product performance and to prolong motor life, it is important to regularly remove any dust and dirt from the inlet grille.
• Remove the grille as shown (FIG B), clean with a cloth or soft brush, then replace it.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

In the event of overheating, the appliance may either stop unexpectedly or start to blow cold air. Overheating is usually caused by a blocked grille/filter. If this happens, immediately unplug the appliance and refer to STORAGE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE to clean the grille/filter. If, after doing this overheating continues to happen, stop using the appliance and contact Customer Service.

DISPOSAL/RECYCLING

Legislation in some localities mandates that e-waste (anything with a plug, battery or cord) is disposed of through controlled recycling facilities and must not be disposed of in general household waste. For more information about recycling of electrical and battery operated appliances, please contact your local council or your local household waste disposal service.

Australian Consumer Law means the Australian consumer law set out in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010;
