Frequently Asked Questions - LS5232ST JUNG

How do I set the current time and weekday?
Press PROG for longer than 2 seconds. The value to change flashes. Use ▲ or ▼ to adjust hours, then press PROG to confirm and move to minutes. After setting minutes, press PROG to set weekday. Finally, press PROG again to exit programming.
How do I program automatic traveling times?
Press PROG for >2 seconds to start programming. The first step sets current time/weekday. Subsequent steps set Up and Down times for weekdays (Mon-Fri) then weekend (Sat-Sun). Use ▲/▼ to change values and PROG to save and advance to next step. To finish, press PROG for >2 seconds or wait 2 minutes.
How do I reset the device to factory settings?
Press and hold AUTO/MAN and PROG simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the display goes out. This resets all traveling times to defaults, sets time to 12:00 (flashing), and activates manual mode. You must then set the time and reprogram as needed.
What happens if the power fails?
If power failure is less than 6 hours, the time and switching times are retained. If longer than 6 hours, the time flashes and manual mode activates; time and weekday must be reset and traveling times revert to factory defaults.
How do I switch between automatic and manual mode?
Press the AUTO/MAN button for longer than 1 second. The display shows the current mode (AUTO or MAN). In manual mode, no automatic moves are executed.
Can I move the blind manually in automatic mode?
Yes. Press ▲ or ▼ for 1-3 seconds to move the blind to an end position or stop. The programmed traveling time for that day is shown for about 4 seconds. Manual operation temporarily overrides automatic schedule until next programmed time.
How do I adjust the slat position?
Press ▲ or ▼ for less than 1 second. The slats adjust in the desired direction for as long as the button is held.
How do I delete a programmed traveling time?
During programming, set the traveling time to 0:00. No traveling times are ever executed at 0:00, so this effectively deletes that time.
Can I save the current time as a traveling time?
Yes. While the blind is moving (press ▲ or ▼ long), additionally press PROG until the time/traveling display goes out. The current time is saved as the traveling time for the current weekday and direction.
What are the factory default traveling times?
The defaults are: Weekdays (Mon-Fri) Up at 7:00, Down at 20:00; Weekend (Sat-Sun) Up at 9:00, Down at 20:00. These are automatically set after a reset.
