Can I charge the DJI Pocket 2 Charging Case and the camera at the same time?

Yes, when an external power source is connected to the USB-C port, both the Charging Case and DJI Pocket 2 will charge simultaneously. The case indicator shows the case battery level; the camera LED shows its level.

What is the battery capacity of the Charging Case and how many times can it charge my Pocket 2?

The Charging Case has a 1500 mAh battery and can fully charge the DJI Pocket 2 approximately 1.5 times when fully charged itself.

How long does it take to fully charge the Charging Case?

Using a 5 V / 2 A USB adapter, the Charging Case takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to fully charge. Charging times may vary with different adapters.

Is the Charging Case compatible with the original Osmo Pocket?

No, the Charging Case is only compatible with DJI Pocket 2. Do not attempt to use it with Osmo Pocket or any other product.

What accessories can I store in the Charging Case?

The Charging Case has dedicated slots for four ND filters, two smartphone adapters, and two microSD cards. These accessories are sold separately.

How do I interpret the status LED on the Charging Case?

When charging, the LED pulses yellow (0-60%) or green (61-99%). Solid green for 1 minute means fully charged. When discharging to Pocket 2, it pulses green (above 5%) or red three times (below 5%, then shuts off). Refer to the manual for full details.

Can I use a third-party charger to power the Charging Case?

Yes, you can use a USB charger that provides 5 V / 2 A or 5 V / 1 A. Using incorrect voltage or current may damage the device.

What should I do if the Charging Case does not open properly?

Check if the opening switch is toggled fully down. If the case is stuck due to sand or dust, wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Low temperatures may also slow the opening mechanism.

How often should I perform a full discharge and recharge to maintain battery health?

It is recommended to fully discharge and then fully recharge the Charging Case once every three months to keep the battery in good condition.

What is the operating temperature range for the Charging Case?

Warnings

1. The Charging Case is only compatible with battery chargers of 5 V / 2 A or 5 V / 1 A.
2. The Charging Case is only compatible with DJI Pocket 2. DO NOT attempt to use the Charging Case with Osmo Pocket or other products.
3. The product should be used in temperatures from 0° to 40° C (32° to 104° F). Use of the product in environments above 40° C (104° F) can lead to a fire or explosion. Use of product below 0° C (32° F) can lead to permanent damage.
4. Make sure the device is properly insulated to prevent fire hazards when in use.
5. DO NOT touch the contact points on the Charging Case.
6. Keep the Charging Case free of sand or dust. Otherwise, it may prevent the Charging Case from opening properly. If there is any noticeable buildup, wipe the Charging Case with a clean, dry cloth.
7. Discharge the battery to 40-65% if it will NOT be used for 10 days or more. This can greatly extend the battery life.
8. Discharge and charge the battery completely once every three months to keep it in good condition.
9. Make sure the external charging contacts on the Charging Case are free of dirt before charging.
10. It is normal that the Charging Case takes more time to open in environments where the temperature is low.
11. It is recommended to remove the attached DJI Wrist Strap before placing DJI

Pocket 2 in the Charging Case. The DJI Wrist Strap can also be attached to the lanyard hole of the Charging Case.

Introduction

The DJI™ Pocket 2 Charging Case can be used as a portable charger for DJI Pocket 2. When the Charging Case is fully charged, it can fully charge DJI Pocket 2 approx. 1.5 times. The Charging Case and DJI Pocket 2 can be charged simultaneously when an external power source is connected. The Charging Case also has slots for ND filters, smartphone adapters, and microSD cards.

When using a USB adapter of 5 V/2 A to charge the Charging Case, the charging time is approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes.*

* Charging time was tested in a lab environment at room temperatures of 25°C (77°F), and should be used for reference only.

Usage

1. Toggle the opening switch down and the Charging Case will open automatically.

1. You can store four ND filters, two smartphone adapters, and two microSD cards as shown below.

The accessories mentioned in the DJI Pocket 2 Charging Case User Guide are all sold separately except for those listed under In The Box.

1. Place DJI Pocket 2 in the Charging Case as shown below. Make sure to position the camera as illustrated below and that the universal port of DJI Pocket 2 is attached to the side of the Charging Case. Toggle the switch to secure DJI Pocket 2.

1. Close the Charging Case manually to charge DJI Pocket 2. Note that DJI Pocket 2 will not charge while the Charging Case is open.
2. To charge the Charging Case and DJI Pocket 2 simultaneously, connect the Power Port (USB-C) of the Charging Case to an external power source.

Every time you open and close the Charging Case, the Status Indicator will show the current battery level. Refer to the Status LED Descriptions section for more information.

The capacity information on the case is visible when the Charging Case is being closed.
