The output from the receiver is a microphone signal. In this example the receiver is connected to a microphone mixer, linked to an amplifier that will send the signal to the speakers. The microphone signal is unbalanced and is supplied through 6,3mm mono sockets.
BATTERIES REPLACEMENT
When the led (2) lights up, indicating that batteries are running out, you can easily replace them by removing the cover and putting in the two batteries as shown in the picture. Please remember to waste batteries in an eco-friendly way, by bringing them in the specific collection points.
- Please be sure that the batteries in the transmitter are charged and if necessary replace them following the instructions. If you have a handy microphone unscrew the lower part to open the battery compartment, where you can put 2 AA batteries (not included). The same batteries can be inserted in the headset version, by opening the front cover. Be careful to respect the indicated polarities and remove the batteries from the devices if you won't use it for a long time.
- If you need to connect the receiver to a mixer or an amplifier, use the unbalanced socket (7) and a cable with jack 6,3 mono connector.
- Connect the included adapter to the back socket (8) and then to the 230V mains.
- After turning on the other fixtures of your audio system, press the on/off button (6) on the base.
- If you own the headset version connect the microphone to socket (14). Use the on/off button (11). Warning: the switch (11) has 3 positions: OFF, MUTE and ON. Be sure to make two steps and to position it on "ON". The transmitter can be fastened to your belt thanks to the clip, allowing you to operate handfree. The headset microphone can be worn behind the neck so that the microphone will be in front of your mouth. Be careful not to bend the antennas or hide them, as this could reduce the operative range.
-
In the same way, if you own a handy transmitter, press the on/off button (11). For a while the led (10) will light on to confirm it is working correctly. Warning: the switch (11) has 3 positions: OFF, MUTE and ON. Be sure to make two steps and to position it on "ON".
-
The led RF(2) on the receiver will light on to indicate the correct connection with the transmitter. To improve reception slightly tilt the front antennas until you obtain the best result.
- WARNING: in order to work correctly, transmitter and receiver must operate on the same channel. It is not possible to use more than one microphone on the same channel. In case of contemporary use of more than one microphone, each of them must operate on a different channel. This model is available in different frequencies. For further information contact Karma's offices.
