Receiver Wiring Adaptor
IMPORTANT

Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items received. Thoroughly check packing materials. If an item is missing, please call Crutchfield at 1-888-955-6000.

STEP 1 -- MATCH & CONNECT WIRES
A. Match wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver). The wire colors of your new receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.
B. If your receiver does not have an Illumination wire, tape off the Orange wire.
C. Connect Black wire to Ground wire of new receiver.
D. Individually tape off any unused wires.
E. Make final wiring connections following instructions on the next page.

Red RCA plug: Use this for center channel speaker/amp in 2004-'06 Lincoln LS and 2004-'05 Ford Thunderbird. White RCA plug: Use this for all vehicles. Connect to subwoofer output of new receiver. Use the Red and White RCAs for 2004-'07 Ford Mustang with Shaker 1000 system. Connect to Subwoofer outputs of new receiver. Red - Woofers White - Subwoofers Use Blue/White Subwoofer Amp Turn-on with White Subwoofer RCA. Orange - Illumination Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker Negative Wires are longer than shown. Use all wires in this harness for the 2004-'07 Ford Mustang with Shaker 1000 system. Blue/White - Woofer Amplifier Turn-on Blue/White - Subwoofer Amplifier Turn-on Blue/White - Connects to Blue/White Amp Remote Wire from receiver Black - Chassis Ground Blue/Red - Connects to both Blue/White Wires on Amp/Sub harness 120AFDI5V Converter (packaged separately) *120705521*CRUTCHFIELD

STEP 2 -- CRIMP CONNECTIONS

Wire Stripper/Crimp Tool Crmp Caps
A. Strip wires back 1/2".

D. Complete crimp connections for all necessary wires.
E. Be sure to wrap any wires from the Wiring Adaptor that are not necessary (wires with no match from the new receiver) with electrical tape.

When ready to install the receiver, plug the Wiring Adaptor from the new receiver or receiver assembly into the factory radio harness(es) in the vehicle dash.
