How do I set the current time on the SST 11MW timer?

Turn the dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the arrow mark on the upper right corner. Each segment represents 2 hours.

How do I program the timer to switch an appliance on/off?

Use a pointed tool (e.g., pencil) to press the desired segments inward. Each pressed segment corresponds to a 2-hour ON period. For example, to have the appliance ON from 6 PM to 10 PM, press segments for 6-8 PM and 8-10 PM.

What is the maximum electrical load the timer can handle?

The timer can handle a maximum resistive load of 16 A (3600 W) at 230 V. For inductive loads (e.g., motors), the maximum is 2 A.

How many on/off cycles can I set per week?

You can set up to 48 switching operations per week, as there are 12 segments per day (each 2 hours) and 7 days.

What does the red LED indicator mean?

The red LED lights up when the timer's internal switch is activated (i.e., power is being supplied to the connected appliance according to the program).

What is the function of the side switch?

When the side switch is in the upper position (I), the appliance receives continuous power regardless of programming. In the lower position (0/auto), the timer operates according to the programmed schedule.

Can the timer be used outdoors?

No. The timer is designed for indoor use only, as stated in the manual.

What should I do if the timer is not working as programmed?

First, check that the side switch is in the lower position. Verify that the current time is correctly set. Ensure that the segments are properly pressed inward. Also confirm that the connected appliance is functional and does not exceed the timer's load rating.

Is the SST 11MW a digital or mechanical timer?

It is a mechanical timer with a dial and push-in segments. It does not have a digital display or electronic programming.

How do I reset the timer to factory settings?

There is no factory reset. To clear the program, simply pull out all depressed segments so they are flush with the dial. Then set the current time again if needed.

Mechanical timer can switch on and off appliances, which are supplied by AC power of 230 V in set time intervals. The timer can switch the power on and off up to 48 times a week in two hour intervals.

SETTING THE CURRENT TIME

1. Set the current time by turning the wheel clockwise, so that the current time is in the upper right corner (at the arrow).
2. You can set the time in two-hour intervals only (one segment is 2 hours, two segments are four hours, three segments 6 hours, etc.).

1. Using a pointed tool (e.g. a pencil, a screwdriver, etc) press the little parts (segments) placed around the perimeter of the wheel to achieve the desired switching times. One pushed-in segment switches the power on for 2 hours (12 segments = 1 day).
2. When the switch on the side of the timer is in a bottom position ⏻, the switching mechanism works as programmed.
3. Plug the timer in 230 V\~ / 50 Hz electrical outlet.
4. Plug the electrical power cord of the appliance, which you want to control with the timer into the power outlet of the timer. Activation of the switch is signalled by red LED.

Switch function on the side of the device:

When the switch is in the upper position I, the switching mechanism is on, regardless of programming.
When the switch is in the low position the switching mechanism works according to the program.
