How do I activate the thermostat?

Press the pressure point on the back of the front panel to open it, then scan the QR code or manually enter the PIN code via the Somfy Connect website. You need a Somfy account to complete activation.

How do I wire the thermostat for a 2-wire system?

Identify the COM (or Ls) and NO (or Lr) wires from your old thermostat. Attach the provided stickers to the wires, then connect them to the corresponding terminals on the new thermostat and tighten the screws.

What if the gateway LED is red during pairing?

Ensure the gateway is within 10 m of the thermostat, check that your Wi-Fi network is working, verify the password, and avoid using the '&' character. Then restart the pairing procedure.

How do I remove my old thermostat?

Start by switching off the mains supply. Unscrew or unclip the front panel, identify the wires (2, 3, or 4), label them with the provided stickers, and unscrew the terminal blocks to release the wires. Finally, unscrew the base from the wall.

What tools are needed for installation?

You need the included screwdriver, screws, and wall plugs. Optionally, you may use the double-sided adhesive tape for mounting without drilling. A wire stripper may also be needed if wires need stripping.

How do I pair the thermostat with the gateway?

Open the 'WiFi pairing' sub-menu in the app, connect the gateway to power, place it in the same room as the thermostat. The gateway will flash red/green. Select its Wi-Fi network (GATEWAY_XXXX) from your phone's Wi-Fi settings, then return to the app and follow the steps.

What is the recommended installation height for the thermostat?

Install the thermostat 1.5 meters above the ground on an interior wall. Avoid locations exposed to direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources.

How do I replace the batteries?

Press the pressure point to open the thermostat, remove the front panel, and replace the 2 AA batteries, respecting polarity. Close the thermostat by inserting the top first, then the bottom.

Can I use the thermostat without the app?

The thermostat can be used as a basic thermostat with the touch surface for simple adjustments, but full features like scheduling and remote control require the Somfy Thermostat app and a gateway.

How do I connect the thermostat to my Wi-Fi?

After installing the gateway, open the app and access 'WiFi pairing'. Connect to the gateway's temporary Wi-Fi network, then select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The gateway will then connect to your network.

Open your thermostat by pressing the pressure point to access the QR code and activate your thermostat.

On the back of the front panel, flash your QR code or enter the PIN code manually.

Select your country and language and click on "Activate my product" on the Somfy Connect website.

Your product's PIN code is entered automatically. If this is not the case, you can enter it manually. It is located close to the QR code (see page 8).

Enter the user name and password associated with your Somfy account. If you do not have a Somfy account, you can create one at this stage.

Once you have created your account, you will receiver an e-mail to confirm activation. Complete this step by clicking on the link contained in the e-mail. If you do not receive the e-mail, please check your spam folder.

Access the

"Cable your Somfy thermostat" sub-menu.

Open the thermostat by pressing the pressure point. On the rear section, open the mounting brackets and pull the cover downwards to access the terminal block cover.

Installing your thermostat

Insert the wires through the rear base. Mount the socket to the wall using the accessories

provided, such as the screws and plugs. You can also stick the thermostat using the adhesive provided.

If necessary, strip the cables.

Do not leave more than 6 mm of wire visible. To prevent a short-circuit, the wires must not come into contact with each other.

Connect the wires to the respective terminals and screw to secure.

Push any surplus wire back into the wall. Replace the terminal block cover by sliding it upwards.

Insert the 2 AA batteries supplied into the front panel, respecting the polarity.

The gateway will switch to pairing mode and flash red and green.

You will be redirected to the WiFi settings on your smartphone. Select the network created by your gateway, which will appear under the name GATEWAY_XXXX.

• Check that your Internet network is working

• Avoid using the “&” character in your password
