The CH3400 has two power levels: 1000 W and 2000 W, selectable via the control panel switches.

Can I install this heater in a bathroom?

Yes, the IP24 protection rating makes it suitable for humid rooms like bathrooms, provided safety distances are respected (not in immediate proximity of a bathtub or shower).

How to attach the heater's feet?

The feet are provided in the box. Attach them to the base of the appliance using the provided self-tapping screws, placing them in the lower ends of the side mouldings.

The heater emits an odor or smoke on first use, is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. On first use or after a long period of inactivity, the heating elements may produce an odor or a little smoke. This disappears after a few minutes of operation.

What minimum distance should I maintain around the heater?

Keep textiles, curtains, and other flammable materials at least 1 meter away from the air outlet. Do not place the appliance directly under a power outlet.

The heater turns off by itself, is it a defect?

No, it's normal. The thermostat automatically turns off the heating when the room temperature reaches the set point, then turns it back on if the temperature drops. This is standard operation.

How to clean the heater?

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products and do not allow water to enter the interior.

Can I use an extension cord with this heater?

SAFETY INSTRUCTION

1. Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached.
2. Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the heater is plugged is in accordance with the rating label on the heater and that the socket is earthed.
3. Keep the power cord away from the hot body of the heater.

4. Warning: Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

5. Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

The meaning of figure in marking is "DO NOT COVER".

1. Indoor use only.

2. Do not place the heater on carpets having a very deep pile.

3. Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface.

4. Do not place the heater close to curtains or furniture in order to avoid a fire hazard.

5. Warning: heater is not located immediately below a socket-outlet.

6. Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air grilles of the heater.

7. Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable fumes may be present.

8. Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another.

9. Warning: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its

service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

7. WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
8. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum distance of 1 m from the air outlet.

INSTALLATION

Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the carton), must be fitted to the unit. These are to be attached to the base of the heater using self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings

WALL MOUNTING

The convector can be mounted on the wall, the set includes dowels that are intended for this purpose

NOTE: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having not been used for a long period of time the heaters may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.

1. Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety instructions above. Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket.
2. Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise direction to the maximum setting.

3. Turn on the heating elements by means of the rocker switches on the control panel.

4. When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is heard to click off. After this the heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by switching on and off automatically.

CLEANING THE HEATER

Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.

STORING THE HEATER

When the heater is not used for long periods of time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.
