Frequently Asked Questions - RF 808C3 Riffel

How do I assemble the Riffel RF 808C3 juicer?
Place the pulp container on the base, then fit the filter basket and blade assembly onto the motor shaft. Lock the lid until you hear a click. Attach the juice jug to the spout. Ensure all parts are securely assembled before operation.
What is the correct way to use the juicer?
Wash fruits and vegetables, cut them into chunks that fit the feed tube. Turn the juicer on, select a speed (low for soft fruits, high for hard vegetables), and push ingredients gently with the pusher. Never insert fingers or utensils.
Can I juice citrus fruits like oranges with the RF 808C3?
Yes, you can juice peeled oranges and other citrus fruits. For best results, remove the pith and seeds to avoid a bitter taste. The pulp separator will help extract clear juice.
How do I clean the juicer after use?
Unplug the device and disassemble all removable parts. Rinse them under warm water and wash with mild detergent. The filter basket, lid, and pulp container are dishwasher-safe. Dry all parts before reassembly or storage.
What are the two speed settings for?
Use speed 1 for soft fruits like berries, bananas, and tomatoes. Use speed 2 for hard vegetables and fruits such as carrots, apples, and beets. Wrong speed settings can reduce juice yield or cause clogging.
Is the RF 808C3 safe to operate?
Yes, the juicer features a safety lock system that prevents the motor from starting unless all parts are correctly assembled. It also has non-slip feet for stability. Always switch off and unplug before opening or cleaning.
Can I juice leafy greens like spinach or kale?
Yes, wrap leafy greens around a harder ingredient like a cucumber or apple to help push them through the feed tube. Use high speed for best extraction. The 75 mm feed tube allows whole fruits and veggies.
What should I do if the juicer stops during operation?
The device may be overloaded. Turn it off, unplug, and remove the ingredients. Reduce the amount and try again. If the problem persists, check for jammed pulp and clear the filter basket before restarting.
Are replacement parts available for the RF 808C3?
Yes, Riffel provides spare parts such as the filter basket, jug, and lid. You can order them through authorized dealers or the official Riffel support website. Always use genuine parts for optimal performance and safety.
How do I store the juicer when not in use?
After cleaning and drying, place the juicer in a dry area. You can keep it assembled or disassemble it to save space. Wrap the cord around the base and use the cord storage to keep it tidy. Avoid storing near heat sources.
