Frequently Asked Questions - HRBM503E HISENSE

How do I set the temperature on my Hisense HRBM503E refrigerator?
Use the touch control panel on the front. Press the Temp button to cycle through refrigerator and freezer settings. Adjust using the + and - buttons. Recommended: fridge 4°C, freezer -18°C.
Why is my refrigerator making unusual noises?
Normal refrigeration sounds include gurgling, clicking, and humming. Occasional loud noises may be due to uneven flooring or items touching the back. Ensure the fridge is level and not in contact with walls or cabinets.
How often should I clean the condenser coils?
Clean the coils at least once a year using a vacuum cleaner or soft brush. This ensures efficient operation and can extend the lifespan of your appliance.
Can I reverse the door opening direction?
Yes, the door is reversible. Refer to the manual for step-by-step instructions. You'll need a screwdriver and possibly an assistant to hold the door.
What should I do if the door alarm keeps sounding?
The alarm sounds when the door is left open for over 60 seconds. Close the door firmly. If it persists, check the door seal for debris or damage and ensure no food blocks it.
How do I defrost the freezer?
The freezer features frost-free technology, so manual defrosting is not needed. However, if a thick ice layer forms, unplug the unit, remove food, and let ice melt naturally.
What is the recommended temperature for energy saving?
Set the refrigerator to 4-5°C and freezer to -18°C. Avoid frequent door openings and ensure the door seals properly to save energy.
How do I replace the LED light bulb?
The LED lighting is integrated and should be replaced only by a qualified technician. If it fails, contact Hisense support.
My refrigerator is not cooling enough. What should I check?
Check if the temperature setting is correct, doors are closed tightly, and vents are not blocked. Clean the condenser coils if dirty. Also ensure the ambient temperature is within climate class range.
Can I store hot food in the refrigerator?
No, let food cool to room temperature before storing. Placing hot food can raise internal temperature, affecting other items and increasing energy consumption.

My HISENSE HRBM503E is making continuous beeping sounds even when the door is closed - how can I stop the alarm?
Frequently Asked Questions - 6 d
Response Notice-Facile

To stop the alarm immediately: Press and hold the < and > buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The beeping should stop.

Why is it beeping? The refrigerator detects that the door has been open for more than 2 minutes. The alarm sounds every minute for about 8 minutes to alert you.

If the alarm does not stop:

  • Check that both doors close completely and without force
  • Clean the seals - debris or dirt can prevent a tight closure
  • Inspect the seals to see if they are damaged, deformed, or worn - a faulty seal should be replaced
  • Ensure that no food or objects are interfering with the door closure

If the alarm persists even with the doors properly closed and the seals in good condition, the door sensor may need adjustment or the seals may require replacement.
