Dual V-mount Adapter INTRODUCTION

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING GENARAY

Genaray's BA-VMOUNT is a dedicated dual V-mount battery adapter for select Genaray lights. It accepts two 14.4-14.8-volt batteries and is equipped with 24-volt and 60-volt outputs. Three- and five-pin XLR cables are included for connection to your Genaray fixture. The light-stand clamp allows you to conveniently secure the adapter to a light stand to keep it out of the way and avoid cable clutter.

OPERATING THE BA-VMOUNT

Important

The BA-VMOUNT will operate only with two 14.4-14.8-volt V-mount batteries installed. Do not attempt to power your Genaray light using a single V-mount battery.

Slide each battery into the V-mount until it locks into place.

To remove a battery, press the battery release and slide it out of the mount.

To attach the BA-VMOUNT to a light stand, loosen the wing nut, and open the clamp. Close the clamp around the light stand, and tighten the wing nut until secure.

POWERING A LIGHT

Important Ⓐ️ ⚡️

Do not attempt to power two lights from the 24 V and 60 V outputs simultaneously.

• Use the 3-pin XLR cable to connect the 24 V output to your light.
• Use the 5-pin XLR cable to connect the 60 V output to your light.

To unplug the XLR cable, press the cable release tab and remove the connector.

This Genaray product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. Genaray's responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at Genaray's discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by Genaray. If the product has been discontinued, Genaray reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.

This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, GENARAY MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Genaray Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Genaray along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
