The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a constellation of satellites that a GPS receiver uses to calculate geographical positions. To determine a position, data from at least three satellites is required. To determine elevation, the data from four or more satellites is required. Accuracy of the positioning varies from 10 feet to several hundred feet, depending on vehicle placement and the surrounding environment.

Geographical terrain (such as mountains), man-made structures (such as highway overpasses, bridges, and tall buildings), as well as weather can interfere with the GPS signal. For best GPS reception, position the device and mount with a clear line of sight to the sky. Some vehicles may have a limited view of the sky due to metal sun shields or a metallized windshield coating.

Map data includes the geographical coordinates for address locations and points of interest (POIs). With GPS reception, your device calculates a route to your selected location.

Installation

• Make sure that the mount is securely mounted and properly adjusted before each trip.
• Make sure that the mount does not impair the driver's visibility.
• Do not attach the mount within the airbag deployment zone.
• Install the mount in a manner that minimizes risk in the event of an accident.
• After installation, check all safety-related equipment to ensure that it operates without interference from the device, its cables, or any other accessories.
• Connect the wall charger to a 120V or 240V outlet only.
• Connect the vehicle charger to a 12V outlet only.

Install the Mount

Note: Follow all local regulations governing the placement of the mount.

1. Select an area with a line of sight to the sky and GPS satellites.
2. Clean and dry the mounting area.
3. Remove the suction cup protective film.
4. Attach the two pieces of the mount together and lock into place.
5. Adjust the angle of the mount.
6. Pull the suction cup lever up to release suction.
7. Plug the power cord into the mount and the vehicle's 12-volt power source.
8. Optional: To use your vehicle's speakers, connect an AUX cable from the Smart Mount AUX out to your vehicle's AUX in port.
9. Optional: To use the SiriusXM satellite radio features, see the instructions in Section 10 (Entertainment).
10. Place and hold the mount suction cup against the mounting surface.
11. Press the suction cup lever down until it snaps into place.
12. Snap the tablet onto the mount.
13. Adjust the tablet so that it can be easily seen and does not block the driver's line of sight.

Using the Android Home Screen

After you turn on your device, the home screen will display.

At the top of the home screen is the status bar. It displays important information like your Wi-Fi connection, remaining battery life, time, etc. The status bar will display at the top of almost every screen.

Swipe down at the top of the status bar and your Notifications panel will display. The tablet notifies you when something needs your attention, such as an e-mail, text message, or device update.

Tap or swipe down in the Notifications panel and a Quick Settings panel will display. The Quick Settings panel contains often used features such as Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth, and location services (GPS). It also displays an Android Settings icon in the top right corner. Tap the Android Settings icon to access a full menu of device settings.

Setup

Connect to the Internet

Enable the Wi-Fi hotspot on your smartphone or other in-vehicle device and then connect OverDryve™ Pro II or connect to your home Wi-Fi to complete setup.

Register your device

Register with Rand McNally for updates and support.

Connect to Bluetooth

Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and pair OverDryve™ Pro II to enable hands-free calling and texting, music streaming, and voice assistance.

Connect to your truck stereo system

You can listen to audio through any of the following four methods:

1. Plug an AUX cable into the Smart Mount and the AUX port in your truck.
   Note: Do not plug the AUX cable into the audio out port on OverDryve™ Pro II.
2. Use the Smart Mount speaker.
3. Use the FM Transmitter. To use the FM transmitter, attach the antenna to the Smart Mount. On OverDryve™ Pro II, tap Entertainment >FM Transmitter and follow the instructions.
4. Add an AUX input to your existing truck.

Note: If your device has not been able to detect your location, you may be asked to set your time zone.

Connect to the Internet

First activate the Wi-Fi hotspot on your phone or in your truck. From the OverDryve™ Pro II setup screen, tap Get Started to begin the setup process. Tap Find my hotspot.

Select a Wi-Fi network and connect.

A message will display that states you are connected. Tap Next.

Register Your Device

Register your device to receive important device updates and support.

Tap Next to proceed to the next step.

Connect to Bluetooth

Connect to your phone via Bluetooth to allow OverDryve™ Pro II to call and text hands-free and to stream music from your phone to your truck's stereo system.

First enable Bluetooth on your phone.

From OverDryve™ Pro II:

1. Tap Connect.
2. Tap Pair New Device and choose smart phone. A Bluetooth pairing request will display on your OverDryve™ Pro II.
3. Tap Pair. If successful, the screen will display a connected message. If the OverDryve™ Pro II failed to connect, verify that your phone is in range and Bluetooth is enabled.

Help for Connecting to Bluetooth

If you are having issues connecting OverDryve™ Pro II to your smartphone via Bluetooth, these steps can help:

1. Make sure that your OverDryve™ Pro II and smartphone are in close proximity to each other, preferably within five feet.
2. Check that both devices do not have a low battery. Some devices will disable Bluetooth to conserve power when the battery gets low.
3. Power the devices off and then back on.
4. Turn off any devices that may be interfering with the Bluetooth connection. For example, if you usually pair your OverDryve™ Pro II with a different phone, turn off that phone.

Connect to Your Truck Stereo

To listen to audio through your truck stereo, the tablet must be in truck mode. To put the tablet in truck mode, place it on the Smart Mount and plug the mount into a power source using the vehicle charger.

The optimal way to connect to your truck stereo is with the provided AUX cord. You can also connect wirelessly via OverDryve™ Pro II's FM transmitter.

To connect with the AUX cable:

1. Tap Connect via AUX.

2. Plug the right-angle end of the AUX cable into the OverDryve™ Pro II Smart Mount.

Note: Do not plug the AUX cable into the audio out port on OverDryve™ Pro II.

1. Plug the other end into your truck's AUX jack.

2. Set your truck's audio source to AUX.

To use the FM transmitter:

1. Attach the FM antenna to the Smart Mount.
2. Unplug the AUX cable if it is plugged in.
3. Tap the settings icon located in the top right corner of the OverDryve™ Pro II screen.
4. Tap OverDryve ^TM Pro II Setup > Audio > Connect via radio.

Connect to Your Truck Stereo (Continued)

Using the OverDryve™ Pro II Speakers

Your tablet has its own speaker, and there's another powerful speaker in the Smart Mount. You can use the OverDryve™ Pro II speakers instead of connecting to your truck stereo. If you want to connect to the truck stereo later, tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen, then OverDryve™ Pro II Setup > Audio.

Device Settings

Swipe down from the top of the screen to view the Quick Settings panel and adjust the following frequently used features:

• Battery Power
• Settings Icon – Access a full menu of all settings.
• Brightness – Changes the screen brightness.
  • Wi-Fi – Shows available networks.
• Bluetooth
  • Airplane Mode – Turns off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Auto Rotate – Controls whether the screen rotates when you rotate the tablet.
• Location – Turn on/off location services (GPS).
• Cast screen – Project your screen onto a compatible device.

From the Quick Settings panel, tap the Settings icon to access a full menu of settings for your device.

• Network & Internet – View and connect to available Wi-Fi networks.

Pair OverDryve™ Pro II with your iPhone or Android phone via Bluetooth to send and receive texts hands-free. The OverDryve™ Pro II Voice Assistant integrates with your phone's voice assistant. OverDryve™ Pro II automatically syncs your text messages so you can see new messages and browse through old ones without reaching for your phone.

Note: If you have an iPhone, make sure your phone is not open to the messaging screen. When the messaging screen is open, the iPhone automatically marks the message as "read". The iPhone won't transmit "read" messages over Bluetooth, so OverDryve™ Pro II will not be able to access them.

To send and receive texts hands-free, tap the Voice Assistant which will ask who you would like to text. Speak the name of any of your contacts. The Voice Assistant will prompt you for your message and then ask you if you would like to send it. The Voice Assistant can also read back text messages that you receive.

Set your favorite contacts by clicking the star icon next to their names. Easily access them in the favorites tab.

If you want to send a text without using the Voice Assistant:

1. Tap Messaging
2. Enter the phone number or select a name from your Contacts.
3. Tap the yellow messaging icon.
4. Tap Write a message in the lower left corner of the screen.
5. Write the message and tap the blue arrow to send it.

To enable text message notifications:

1. From Messaging, tap the Settings icon in the top left corner of the screen.
2. Tap Settings.
3. If Enable Messaging Notifications is checked, notifications are already enabled. If not, tap to turn on the feature. The status will show "Enabled".

To control what text message information displays on OverDryve™ Pro II:

1. From Messaging, tap the Settings icon in the top left corner of the screen.

2. Tap Settings.

3. If Show Message Content is checked, tap to uncheck. The status will change to "Hide Content".

4. Phone

Pair OverDryve™ Pro II with your iPhone or Android phone via Bluetooth to make calls hands-free. OverDryve™ Pro II automatically downloads your contacts and call history when you get in the truck.

Set your favorite contacts by clicking the star icon next to their names. Easily access them in the favorites tab.

To set the ringtone or notification ringtone:

1. From Phone, tap the Settings icon in the top left corner of the screen.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Ringtone or Notification Ringtone and choose your selection.

Using Guided Search

The Guided Search Keyboard in the Rand Navigation 2.0 app helps you quickly locate your destination.

1 Auto-Complete Keyboard

As you key in characters, the keyboard only displays the next possible letter or number. Letters and numbers that cannot be entered in sequence are disabled. Results are displayed as you key in characters.

2 DestinationEntry

The top bar displays the current search.

3 Guided Search: City/Postal Code

Displays the available city/postal code selections based on the information you have typed in. Tap a result to advance.

4 Guided Search: Street

Displays the available street selections based on the city you selected, and the information you have typed in. If the next letter in the street name cannot be selected on the keyboard, tap Expand Search to search a larger area. Tap a result to advance.

5 Guided Search: House Number

Displays the available house numbers based on the city and street selected, and the information you have typed in. Tap a result to advance.

New Location

1 Address

Navigate to an address by entering the city (or postal code), street, and house number.

2 CityCenter

Navigate to a city center.

3 Intersection

Navigate to the intersection of two roads within a specified city.

4 Coordinates

Navigate to a coordinate location.

Note: Rather than a city/street search, using the Coordinates Guided Search prompts you to enter a numeric latitude and longitude value.

Tap to return to the previous screen.

Once you select your destination through the guided search, click the Navigate button to begin navigation.

Tap to view a list of saved multi-stop trips or to create a new one.

Multi-Stop Trips

Displays a list of recent destinations.

1 Tap to review and edit a saved trip.
2 Tap + New Trip to start a new multi-stop trip.

Displays the stops along your trip.
Tap the X to remove a stop.
Tap + Add a Location to add a new stop.

4 Tap to view Route avoids, Route details, and Overview. Also tap to Save to My trips.

5 Tap to Reverse or Reorder your stops (manually or automatically).

6 Displays the travel time, traffic delays (if any), and toll costs for the first leg of your trip.

Trails

Use Trails to record a "bread-crumb" path where your truck has traveled. The Trails feature is beneficial when traveling in areas where there is no road network.

1 Tap to open an existing trail.
2 Tap to record a new trail.
3 Tap to edit or delete a trail.
4 Tap to stop recording.
5 View details about the trail.
6 Tap to begin navigation. Routing to an existing trail will take you to the start of the trail. You can then follow the rest of the trail to your destination.
7 Tap to edit or delete the trail.
8 Tap to display the trail on the navigation map.

History

Displays a list of recent destinations.

1 Destination

Tap an entry in the list to navigate to the destination.

2 Distance

Displays the distance to each destination from your current location.

3 Options

Tap to access additional options. Edit: Allows you to select and delete an entry in the history list. Clear History: Deletes all entries.

Address Book

Displays your saved bookmarks, contacts, and group.

1 Bookmarks

Navigate to a saved address.

2 Contacts

Navigate to the stored address from a saved contact.

Note: Contacts are stored in the Contacts app. You can add contacts manually or import them.

3 Groups

Options for organizing your bookmarks and contacts into groups.

4 Destination

Tap a bookmark to navigate to the destination.

5 Alphabetic Organization

Tap a letter group to view bookmarks alphabetically. This is useful if you have a lot of bookmarks, and they are difficult to find.

6 Options

Tap to sort, add, and delete bookmarks.

Address Book: Contacts

In order to use contacts for navigation, you first need to set them up in the Rand Navigation 2.0 app. You can add contacts manually or import them.

1 Create a New Contact

Tap to manually create a new contact.

2 Search

Tap to search for an existing contact.

3 View

Tap a contact's name to view and edit information about that contact.

4 Edit Contact

Enter information about the contact.

Tap Save to save and return to the previous screen.

Address Book: Groups

Use Groups to organize your contacts and destinations into categories for easier searching.

1 Available Groups

Displays the groups you have created.

2 NewGroup

Tap to create a new group.

3 Group Destination

Displays the destinations stored in the selected group. Tap a destination to begin navigation.

4 Group Options

Tap in the corner to edit or delete destinations in a group.

5 Add Location

Tap to add a new location to the group. You can add a new address, or select from your history, bookmarks, or POIs.

POIs

Displays Points of Interest (POIs) near your current location, near a specific location, along your intended travel route, or near your destination.

1 My Truck

Tap to display POIs near your current location.

2 Acity

Tap to display POIs near a specific city.

3 My route

Tap to display POIs along your route.

4 My destination

Tap to display POIs near your destination.

5 POI Categories

Tap to select the POI category.

Note: Some categories may have multiple sub-categories to select from.

6 Custom POI

Tap to display custom points of interest from an import.

7 Quick Stops

Displays a list of commonly searched POI categories.

Filter POIs

Truck-related points of interest such as Travel Centers and Truck Services can include several amenities. To select only the locations with the amenities that you are interested in, filter your search results.

1 Nearby Places

Lists destinations near your location that match the category selected.

2 Map

Displays destinations near your location.

3 Filter

Search for points of interest by selecting available services.

4 Search

Search for points of interest by typing the name.

5 Tap a checkbox for a subcategory to include it in your search.
6 Tap to clear the filters.
7 Tap to go back and view the filtered POI list.

Please note that filter selections will remain active until you clear the filter.

POIs

When you select a POI category, a list of suggestions provided by Yelp (if applicable) and a list of nearby places display.

Note: A Wi-Fi connection is required in order to display Yelp information.

1 Yelp Suggestions

Displays top-rated suggestions from Yelp.

Tap a destination to view additional information and begin navigation.

2 Nearby, Along route or My destination

Displays matching POIs near the location specified, along with the distance to each destination.

Tap a destination to view additional information and begin navigation.

3 Map

Displays POIs near your truck, a city, your route, or your destination.

4 More information

Displays additional information about the POI, including Yelp review information, address and phone number.

Tap the Reviews link to view reviews on yelp.com.

5 POI Destination

Displays the selected POI on the map, along with the locations of other nearby places.

6 Navigate

Tap to begin navigation to the selected POI.

Home/Work

You can set bookmarks for a Home and a Work location. This is useful so you can quickly navigate to these destinations.

Tap Add Work or Add Home to set these locations.

Tap New Location, History, or POIs to select a Home or Work destination from among these options.

2 Choose on Map

Tap to set your Home or Work location by selecting a point on the map.

3 Use Current Location

Tap to set your Home or Work location to your current location.

1 Route Overview Displays the directions, highways and summary of your trip.

Route Overview

1 Direction Tab

Displays the turn-by-turn directions for the current route.

2 HighwaysTab

Displays the highways along your route, with the number of miles to travel on each.

3 Summary Tab

Displays the total travel time and distance for your route, as well as summaries for each leg of the trip (for multi-stop trips).

Detour/Avoid

From Route Options, tap Detour/Avoid. There are four options available to set up detours and permanent avoids:

1. Next miles allows you to detour a certain number of miles. Use the slider to set the number of miles to detour/avoid.
2. A road allows you to avoid a specific road.
3. An area allows you to draw a polygon on the map. You will be routed around this area.
4. Along the route allows you to select a step in your navigation to avoid.

When selecting next miles, use the slider to set the number of miles that are next along your route to avoid. Tap Detour to being using the new route.

Detour/Avoid

When selecting A road, zoom in and out on the map to center the target over the road to avoid. The road is highlighted in red. Tap Permanent Avoid to always avoid it. Tap Detour to avoid it on this trip.

2 When selecting An area, tap on the map to set points for an area to avoid. Tap Permanent Avoid to always avoid it. Tap Detour to avoid it on this trip.

3 When selecting Along the route, select the step on the route you wish to avoid. Tap Detour to navigate around it.

Weather

When enabled, Weather displays current weather condition overlays on the map.

Notes:

• Requires a Wi-Fi connection.
• The refresh speed of the weather display is dependent on the connection speed. Weather information is updated every few minutes while Wi-Fi connection is active.
• Weather display depends on active weather patterns and map zoom level.

To view current weather information and the three-day forecast for your location, tap the gear icon on the map screen and tap the Weather tab.

1 Tap to enable weather.
2 Tap to view details and enter settings.
3 Select to view weather at your current location, or at your destination.
4 Displays the current weather conditions at the location selected.
5 Displays the 3-day forecast for the location selected.
6 Tap to view and change weather preferences such as layer opacity and weather type.

Traffic

To view traffic information, tap to enable the Traffic slider on the map screen. Traffic conditions will overlay on the map when traffic is enabled.

Note: Requires a Wi-Fi connection.

Fuel Logs

1. From the Virtual Dashboard, tap Fuel Log.
2. Tap a field to enter information. You can edit the following fields: Fuel quantity, Fuel price, Total cost, Taxable, Location, Station, Date, Last odometer, Current odometer. Distance, Current economy, and Average economy are calculated automatically based on your entries.
3. Tap Save to record the fuel purchase.

Junction View

When on a route, Junction Views display when you have an upcoming maneuver. Set distance in Settings > Route. Once past the maneuver, Junction View closes and the previous window displays.

1 Signs to follow for the next maneuver. Includes exit number and highway name/number if applicable.
2 Distance to the upcoming maneuver. Distance decreases as you approach the ramp.

TripMaker is a trip planning app that allows you to easily browse the map and set up a multi-stop trip. Add via points and send your trip to the GPS app for routing. To access TripMaker, tap the app tray, swipe to the right to view the second app screen, then tap the TripMaker icon.

To create a trip:

1. Enter the starting and ending point for your trip.
2. Choose a name for it.
3. Tap Create Trip.

DriverConnect

The DriverConnect app provides a fully-compliant electronic logbook solution. DriverConnect lets you track and log Hours of Services, Driver-Vehicle Inspection Reports, Fuel purchases, and more. Reports can be generated for roadside inspections.

The DriverConnect app connects to a Rand McNally Electronic Logging Device (ELD) over a Bluetooth connection. The app automatically syncs driving data from the ELD with the Rand McNally DriverConnect portal via a Wi-Fi or cellular transmission.

Your OverDryve™ Pro II tablet includes a built in dash cam; the lens is in the back of the device.

Dash Cam

Record high quality video of your travels with the Dash Cam app.

1 Tap to start or stop recording.
2 Set your video preferences.
3 Tap to view Gallery.
4 Tap to record audio or mute.
5 Tap to take a still photo.

1. You can access your videos and photo captures from the Gallery. Videos and Photos will be sorted in the order of capture.
2. Media can be recorded to both internal and external storage from the settings.

9. Cameras

1. Video quality can be adjusted from settings with the option to choose between Standard (480p), HD (720p), Full HD (1080p).
2. When recorded to internal storage, videos will be captured in segments of 15 minute duration, until the device has 2 GB of free storage space. This is to ensure proper functioning of the GPS app and for future updates. For additional settings, use an external storage card and enable the "Save to external storage" setting.

1. When saving to external storage additional options are enabled to enable loop recording, control the number of video segments and length of the video segments captured.

10. Entertainment

There are four options for listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, etc.:

1. Stream music from your smartphone via Bluetooth. Access the audio controls in the Bluetooth Player.
2. Stream music right from OverDryve™ Pro II by downloading music apps.
3. Download mp3s or other types of audio files. Access the audio controls in the Media Player.
4. Listen to SiriusXM satellite radio.

You can activate the FM Transmitter to listen to audio through your speakers. For more ways to listen to audio, refer to "Connect to Your Truck Stereo" on page 9.

Note: To listen to music, the tablet must be in truck mode. To put the tablet in truck mode, place it on the Smart Mount and plug the mount into the vehicle adapter.

Bluetooth Player

The Bluetooth player lets you stream any audio (music, podcasts, audiobooks, etc.) from your phone to OverDryve™ Pro II. To get started, play some music from your phone. On OverDryve™ Pro II, tap Entertainment > Bluetooth Player. Swipe right or left anywhere on the Bluetooth player screen to change tracks. For optimal sound, turn the volume on your phone and OverDryve™ Pro II up all the way.

Note: For help with connecting to Bluetooth, see "Connect to Bluetooth" on page 8.

Phone Playback

You can control your phone's audio controls such as Next, Previous, Play, and Pause from your OverDryve™ Pro II. From the main menu, simply tap Entertainment > Bluetooth Player to access the controls.

FM Transmitter

The FM Transmitter makes it easy to listen to music from OverDryve™ Pro II. Just tap Entertainment > FM Transmitter > On. Tune your truck radio to an open FM station and you're set.

Finding the Best Station

In order to get the best possible reception from the FM Transmitter on your truck stereo, you need to find the best FM frequency to transmit to. The best frequency to use is one where no FM radio stations are currently broadcasting on or near. FM reception can vary by geography and can also vary depending on the location of your vehicle's FM Antenna.

To start, attach the FM Transmitter antenna to OverDryve™ Pro II's smart mount. Next, tune your truck's FM Radio to different stations until you hear only static on a station. Be sure to use the "Tune" option in your truck and not the "Seek" option, as Seek will skip over open stations. Once you have found an open station, open the FM Transmitter app on OverDryve™ Pro II, turn it on and tune it to the same frequency. You should hear the static stop and you will now hear any audio playing from OverDryve™ Pro II.

Next, change the direction of OverDryve™ Pro II's FM Transmitter Antenna until you get the clearest sound. If you still hear static or the audio from OverDryve™ Pro II isn't clear, tune your truck's FM radio to a different open station and repeat the process.

Note, the activation process usually takes 10 to 15 minutes, but may take up to an hour. Your OverDryve Pro will need to be powered on and receiving the SiriusXM signal to receive the activation message.

OverDryve™ Pro II User Manual

SiriusXM Radio

Your OverDryve™ Pro II tablet comes with a SiriusXM radio app pre-installed. To access SiriusXM,, tap Entertainment > SiriusXM. The SiriusXM antenna cable must be installed, and the tablet connected to the Smart Mount.

Antenna Cable Routing

When routing antenna cable, always be careful to include enough slack in your cable to accommodate open doors and driver space. Use things typically found around the home, like electrical tape, to secure cables in areas so that hinges do not pinch the cable with the door. Hide any excess cable in the cabin trim.

Activating Your Radio

After installing your OverDryve™ Pro II tablet with SiriusXM smart mount and the antenna, launch the SiriusXM application from the ENTERTAINMENT category. You should be able to hear the SiriusXM preview channel on Channel 1. If you cannot hear the preview channel, please check the installation instructions to make sure your SiriusXM smart mount tuner is properly installed.

To receive the SiriusXM signal you will need to install the provided antenna. SiriusXM satellites are located over the equator and the antenna must be mounted in a location that has a unobstructed view to the south. Please avoid placing the antenna under or directly next to metal or other dense materials as it may result in signal loss.

To activate your SiriusXM subscription, please power on your OverDryve™ Pro II and launch the SiriusXM app. You should hear audio on the Preview Channel (channel 1). If you do not hear audio, you need to adjust your location or move the antenna so that it has as a clear view of the sky.

You will need your Radio ID, which can be found by tuning to Channel 0, or by looking at the sticker on the smart mount. The Radio ID does not contain the letter I,O, S or F.

Displays similar genre channels based on the currently playing channel.

FFW, RRW, Pause/Play, LIVE

Fast forward (FFW, >>) and fast backward (RRW, <<) buttons play the songs as buffered (up to 30 minutes) within the selected station in its entirety. Pause button stops the music play without skipping any music stream. Play button resumes music play in a continued stream. LIVE button stops playing buffered content and syncs with Live broadcast.

Smart FAVORITES

Tune to, or set, a Smart FAVORITE.

TuneScan

Tap to get a short preview of songs that you have missed on each of your SmartFavorites music channels. Find a song you like and tap the TuneScan button again to continue listening to that song. The font changes blue when scanning takes place. If you want to stop, tap TuneScan again. The font color will change from blue to grey.

TuneStart

Tune to a channel and automatically start a song from the beginning. Tap Account Icon 🎨 > Tap Settings 🎨 > Tap Enable Tune Start

Artist/Song Alerts

Get alerted when your favorite artists, songs or teams are playing on any channel.

Tap artist name > Tap artist or song to add to your favorite > Tap Set Your selection will be added to the favorites.

Disable: Allows you to keep it in favorites but doesn't notify.

SportsFlash Alerts

Will notify you when a big play happens during a game with one of your favorite sports teams. Choose to tune in and hear the play unfold like it was live. Continue listening to the game, or you can return to your previous channel.

Tap Account icon 🙏 > Tap Sports> Tap Sports team to add to your favorite> Tap Sports Flash> Tap Done.

Your selection will be added to the favorites.

Game/Team Alerts

Will notify you when a big play happens during a game with one of your fGet alerted when a game involving your favorite team is actively playing in a live broadcast game, or get a list of channels broadcasting live games involving at least one of your favorite teams.

Tap Account icon ⚙ > Tap Sports> Tap Sports team to add to your favorite> Tap Game Alerts > Tap Done.

Your selection will be added to the favorites.

In order to manage them

Tap Account Icon Ⓒ > Tap Teams > Tap the three ellipses on the Sports team you want to manage.

Disable: Allows you to keep it in favorites but doesn't notify.

Delete: Removes it from favorites and notification.

Direct Tune

Scroll to the left or right, or tap the buttons, to scroll between available stations. You can also type the station number to navigate directly to that station.

Tap a station icon to listen.

Tap the X to close Direct Tune.

Smart FAVORITES

You can set up to 15 presets, or Smart FAVORITES, in three scrollable panels.

Tap and hold a Smart FAVORITES icon to set the station.

Tap and hold again to:

Replace: Set a new Smart FAVORITES channel over the existing one.

Clean: Delete the Smart FAVORITE

Cancel: Return to the SiriusXM interface.

Once a Smart FAVORITE is set, tap the channel icon to play that channel.

Rand McNally has designed OverDryve™ Pro II for speed and reliability. However, from time to time, all Android devices run into problems. If your unit becomes unresponsive for any reason, it's always best to restart the unit by turning it off and on again.

Restarting the Device

1. Restart the unit by holding down the power button for 3 seconds, or until you see the Power Off screen.
2. Press Power Off.
3. Once the unit has shut down, press and hold the power button for 2 to 4 seconds to turn it back on.

If the unit is unresponsive and you don't see the power down button appear on the screen, hold down the power button for 10 to 15 seconds and the device will turn off completely. Once the unit has shut down, press and hold the power button for 2 to 4 seconds to turn it back on.

Resetting the Device

To reset the OverDryve™ Pro II to its factory state:

1. Power off the tablet. If needed, press and hold the POWER BUTTON for 10 seconds to power off the device.
2. PRESS and HOLD the HOME BUTTON and POWER BUTTON simultaneously until the device display turns on. The tablet will then boot into recovery mode.
3. Press the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON and highlight the "Wipe data/ factory reset" option and press the POWER BUTTON to select.
4. A confirmation to "Wipe all user data?" is displayed. Use the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON to highlight "Yes" and press the POWER BUTTON to select.
5. The device will perform the factory reset and will return to the recovery mode screen.
6. With the "Reboot system now" option highlighted, press the POWER BUTTON to reboot the device.
7. Wait for the tablet to complete the reboot. The tablet will now be reset to the factory state.
