INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Put the steam cleaner on a flat surface, push down and unscrew the safety cap and put the funnel in place.
-Pour 175ml of clean water in the filler vessel and add the water to the cleaner tank. (The maximum capacity of the tank is 300ml. Do not exceed this capacity as there should be empty space in the tank). Put the safety cap back in its place.
-Connect the appliance to the mains electricity. The pilot light will light up.
-After about 6 minutes, the steam will be ready. When this happens, press the steam pushbutton and check that the steam is spraying out properly through the nozzle.
-Install the accessories you need, but do this always with the appliance disconnected from the mains electricity, after having checked this, being very careful not to spray steam at the same time by not pressing on the steam pushbutton.
-Press the steam pushbutton once again to start up the operations that you wish to carry out.
-In order to disinfect and sterilise, insert the long nozzle in the short nozzle and point it towards the area to be sterilised; then press the steam button.
-Disconnect the plug from the mains electricity supply.
-Press the steam pushbutton to release the pressure until no steam whatsoever is coming out. -Very slowly unscrew the safety cap, but do not remove it since there still may be steam inside. The cap therefore must be left in place until all the steam has been released.
-If the cap cannot be unscrewed because it is ``cross threaded'', this means that the pressure inside the tank is very high; in order to unscrew the cap the steam button should be pressed, as many times as required, in order to eliminate all the steam and then be able to unscrew the cap.
-When all the steam has been released, place the cleaner on a cold surface for around five minutes for it to cool down. Now the safety cap can be removed.
-Use the funnel and the filler vessel to top up the water tank with the amount of water necessary.
-Replace the safety cap on the cleaner and screw it right down in its position.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
-After having used the steam cleaner, disconnect the plug from the mains electricity supply.
-Press the steam pushbutton until all the pressure has been released and also all the steam from the inside.
-When all the steam has been released, place the cleaner on a cold surface for around five minutes for it to cool down. Now the safety cap can be removed.
-Empty any water that may be left in the tank and clean the outside surface with a dry cloth.
-Replace the safety cap on the cleaner and screw it right down in its position.
-Never immerse the appliance in water or under the faucet.
