Frequently Asked Questions - EM2PTAD14BS Element

How do I connect the monitor to my laptop?
You can connect via USB-C (if your laptop supports DP Alt Mode) using the included USB-C cable, or via HDMI using the included Mini HDMI to HDMI cable. For HDMI connections, the power adapter must be used.
Does the touchscreen work on Mac computers?
Yes, but with limited functionality supporting only 1-point touch recognition on Mac computers with USB-C DP Alt Mode.
What power supply does the monitor require?
The monitor requires a power source capable of outputting at least 15W (5V/3A). The included USB power adapter and USB to USB-C cable provide this.
How do I adjust the brightness?
You can adjust brightness by pressing the up/down buttons on the side of the monitor for quick brightness changes, or through the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu by pressing the power/OSD button.
The screen is blank but the LED indicator is green. What should I do?
If the LED is green, the monitor has power but is not receiving a signal. Try reconnecting the cable and ensuring the host device is outputting an image. Also check that the correct input source is selected in the OSD.
Touchscreen is not working. What could be the issue?
Touchscreen only works via the USB-C (DP Alt Mode) connection and only with compatible Windows devices (or limited on Mac). Touch data is not transferred over HDMI. Also ensure the host device supports touch input.
Can I use this monitor with a game console?
Yes, you can connect a game console via the Mini HDMI input. Note that the power adapter must be used to power the monitor, and touchscreen functionality is not supported over HDMI.
How do I use the folio case as a stand?
Open the folio case, align the screen with the opening, and place the screen into one of the grooves on the cover to adjust the viewing angle.
What is the refresh rate of this monitor?
The native refresh rate is 60 Hz. It also supports Adaptive Sync (variable refresh rate) which can be toggled on/off in the OSD.
How can I reset the monitor to factory settings?
