How do I configure TCP/IP settings on my computer?

Go to Control Panel > Network Connections, right-click Local Area Connection, select Properties. Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then Properties. Choose 'Use the following IP address' and assign an IP in the subnet 192.168.0.x (e.g., 192.168.0.50). Ensure subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.

Why doesn't the video image load when I click ActiveX or Java?

Make sure your browser supports ActiveX (Internet Explorer) or Java. Verify that ActiveX/Java is installed and enabled in browser settings. Also check that no pop-up blocker is blocking the viewer.

How do I connect the TV-IP400W to my wireless router?

First, connect the camera via Ethernet to configure it. Access the camera's web interface at 192.168.0.20, go to Administration > Configuration > Wireless. Set the same SSID, encryption mode (e.g., WPA2-AES), and key as your router. Save and reboot the camera. Then disconnect the Ethernet cable; the camera will connect wirelessly.

After configuring wireless settings, I cannot connect to the camera. What should I do?

Verify that the wireless settings (SSID, encryption, key) match exactly. Check the LINK LED on the camera: it should be orange when connected. If not, reset the camera by pressing the reset button with a paper clip for 15 seconds, then reconfigure.

How do I reset the TV-IP400W to factory defaults?

Locate the reset hole on the camera. Insert a paper clip and press the button for at least 15 seconds. Release. The camera will reboot with default IP 192.168.0.20 and all settings cleared.

What is the default username and password?

The default username is 'admin' and password is blank (empty). It is recommended to change the password in the Administration settings after first login.

Can I view the camera remotely over the internet?

Yes, you need to forward port 80 (or a custom port) on your router to the camera's IP address. Then access your public IP address followed by the port number. Dynamic DNS may be needed if your public IP changes.

Does the camera support motion detection?

Yes, the TV-IP400W includes motion detection functionality. Configure it via the web interface under Administration > Motion Detection.

What browsers are compatible with the camera?

1. Place the camera on a flat, level surface.
2. Attach the Antenna. (TV-IP400W)
3. Connect the AC Power Adapter to the back of the camera.
4. Connect the AC Power Adapter to a power outlet.
5. Connect a RJ-45 network cable from a Switch/Hub to the Ethernet port of the Internet Camera.

3. Configure the Internet Camera

Note: It is recommended that you configure the Internet Camera from a wired computer. Before the Internet Camera can be configured, a Static IP address must be assigned on your computer's network adapter in the subnet of 192.168.0.x. Since the Internet Camera's default IP address is 192.168.0.20, make sure no other network devices are assigned an IP address of 192.168.0.20. (Refer to the Troubleshooting section on how to configure TCP/IP settings on your PC.)

1. Open your web browser, type http://192.168.0.20 in the Address bar, and press Enter.

1. Click Configuration and then click Network. Configure the network settings to be in the same subnet as your network. Then click Save.

1. Click Wireless. Configure your wireless settings to match your wireless network's settings and then click Save. (TV-IP400W only)
