INTRODUCTION
The AT-PC-AVSCOMP PC to Video scan converter is designed to convert a variety of computer images, from 640x480 up to 1600x1200, to interlaced NTSC or PAL video. It offers a variety of output formats including composite, S-Video, YUV and RGBS. It is ideal for use in applications like video conference, home theater, business presentation, lecturing room or viewing PC image on TV.

• Automatically detects and down converts the incoming PC images to NTSC, PAL, RGB or YUV.
• Support high resolution PC input up to UXGA(1600x1200@60Hz).
- Output video format is selectable between composite/S-Video, YUV, and RGBS through a control button on the remote.
• Support high input refresh rate up to 140Hz(VGA).
• Adjustable image scaling.
• Pan, Position and Zoom.
- Advance 2-D flicker filter ensures flicker-free picture.
• Adjustable contrast, brightness, color, sharpness.

• Adjustment and control through RS-232 interface.

- Standby/On indicator: The indicator illuminates in red when it is in Standby mode, illuminates in green when it is in ON mode.
- Power button: Push the button to turn power ON or Standby.
- Remote control sensor.
- Button . Under zoom mode push the button to adjust the picture leftward.
- Button : Under zoom mode push the button to adjust the picture rightward.
- Button : Under zoom mode push the button to adjust the picture downward.
- Button ▲ Under zoom mode push the button to adjust the picture upward.
- Zoom button: Push the button to zoom in or zoom out of a picture.
- Overscan button: Push the button to overscan/underscan the picture.

Remote Control
- Power: Power ON/Off.
- Video setting adjustments for picture, contrast, bright, color and sharpness.
- V-Reset: Press the button to reset picture adjustment 2 to factory default vaule.
- NTSC/PAL: Press the button to select NTSC or PAL as video output.
- Color bar pattern ON/Off: Press the button to show color bar pattern on the screen. Press again to close color bar.
- Image freeze ON/Off: Press the button to freeze/unfreeze an image.

Output format: Press the button to select your desired output format. Press repeatedly to toggle through CV/SV RGB YUV

Under/Over Scan: Press the button to choose a underscan image or overscan image.

9-blocks selection(Zoom): Under zoom mode press one of the buttons to select its corresponding sub-area which is 1/9 of of the full screen.

Zoom ON/Off: Press the button to zoom in an picture, press again to zoom out.

Horizontal/Vertical adjust knob:
- Adjust the size or position of a image when it is under Zoom, Pan/Position, or Size/EXP mode.

Adjust setting value of picture adjustment in 2.

Default: Press the button to revert the following parameters to factory preset value:

Zoom
- Position
- Size

Picture adjust

Pos/Pan: When a picture is in underscan mode, press the button to do position adjustment. When a picture is in overscan mode, press the button to do pan adjustment.

System reset: Press the button to revert all system parameters back to factory preset value.
The system parameters are default as follows:
- Overscan
- NTSC output
- 4:3 aspect
- Normal brightness
- Video settings reset, position/ pan/size /expand reset.

Size/EXP: When a picture is in underscan mode, press the button to do size adjustment. When a picture is in overscan mode, press the button to do expand adjustment.

Aspect: Press the button to switch between standard 4:3 and widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio.

PC OS: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
Software installation:
- Place installation CD on CD-ROM drive.
- Execute setup.exe on installation CD.
- OS maybe requires to update some files. Please re-start PC. After starting PC ready, execute setup. exe again.
- Click taskbar menu (START)->(Programs)->(AT-PC-AVSCOMP) to execute software.
If RS-232 is not ready then software enters virtual mode.
After RS-232 connection being ready, start the software again and enters real mode.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture

Never open, remove unit panels, or make any adjustments not described in this manual. Attempting to do so could expose you to dangerous electrical shock or other hazards. It may also cause damage to your AT-PC-AVSCOMP. Opening the product will void the warranty.
Do not attempt to service the unit. Disconnect the product and contact your authorized Atlona reseller or contact Atlona directly.
WARRANTY
Limited Warranty
Atlona Technologies warrants that (a) its products (the AT-PC-AVSCOMP) will perform substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt and (b) that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 3 years. In the event applicable law imposes any implied warranties, the implied warranty period is limited to 3 years from the date of receipt. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations on duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to customers that fall within those areas.
Customer Remedies
Atlona Technologies' and its suppliers' entire liability and Customer's exclusive remedy shall be, at Atlona Technologies' decision, either return of the price paid for the product, repair, or replacement of the product that does not meet this Limited Warranty and which is returned to Atlona Technologies with a copy of the Customer's receipt. This Limited Warranty is void if failure of the product has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, or natural occurrence. In example but not limited to: power surges (electrical storms, local power outage), dropping the product (or items on the product), contact with fluids, and physical misconduct (i.e. kicking or punching). Any replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
No other warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlona Technologies and its suppliers disclaim all other warranties, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to the product and any related written materials. This Limited Warranty gives customer specific legal rights. Customers may have other rights depending on the jurisdiction.
No liability for damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Atlona Technologies or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use of or inability to use this product, even if Atlona Technologies has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Such damages include but are not limited to: special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages for personal injury, loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss. Atlona Technologies' and its suppliers' entire liability under any provision of this agreement shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the product. Some Jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damage. The above limitations may not apply to you in such jurisdictional cases.
