General Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. If applicable, pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance.
Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance, including the following:
Electrical Safety and Cord Handling
- Voltage: The appliance must only be supplied at the correct voltage from a power source via the supplied power adaptor.
- Electrical circuit: Always plug the adaptor into a separate wall outlet socket. Use a safe socket with an earthed connection. To ensure you do not overload the circuit, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same circuit.
- Connection: To insert the adaptor, grasp it firmly and guide it into the outlet.
- WARNING! No extension cord: Do not use the wine cooler with a power board or extension cord, as these may overheat and create a fire risk.
- Protect the power cord:
- Do not operate the wine cooler with the cord coiled up; always fully unwind.
- Do not twist or kink the cord or let it touch heated surfaces.
- Do not put any stress on the cord where it connects to the product.
- Never carry the wine cooler by the cord.
- Arrange the cord away from any traffic areas so no one will trip over it.
-
Do not run the cord under carpeting or cover it with rugs, runners, etc.
-
Damaged cord: Check the power supply cord regularly for visible damage. If it is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or appropriately qualified personnel in order to avoid any hazards.
- Plug: It is normal for the plug to feel warm; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace a loose outlet. This appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided.
- Winding the cord: If winding the power cord, avoid tight bends as this could damage the cord.
- After use: Switch off and unplug the appliance from the power outlet when it is not in use and before cleaning, servicing, moving or storing the appliance. To disconnect, switch it off and remove the adaptor from the outlet. Grip the adaptor, do not pull the cord.
- WARNING! Never unplug the unit by pulling the cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the power point.
- Protect from moisture: To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or spray any other liquids on the appliance and parts. Do not connect or disconnect the electric plug with wet hands, while standing on a wet surface or while standing in water.

Instructions
Preparation
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of the wine cooler, the setup location must fulfil the following prerequisites:
- The device must be set up on a firm, flat, horizontal surface with sufficient load-bearing capacity for the device.
- The device is not intended to be installed in a wall or a built-in cupboard.
- Do not operate the product near hot gas or hot stove.
- Choose the setup location in such a way that children cannot reach the device.
- Do not set up the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or near flammable material.
- The electrical socket must be easily accessible so that the power lead can be disconnected easily, in the case of an emergency.
How to Use
Connect the adapter plug to the wine cooler, then insert the plug into a secure powerpoint.
On the control panel of the wine cooler, press the Power button to turn on.
You can set your desired temperature using the Increase Temperature and Decrease Temperature buttons on the control panel. The temperature range is from 5-18°C or 41-64°F.
Place a suitable bottle (90 mm or less in diameter) into the wine cooler. The device should now start to cool down.
The LED will remain flashing until the desired temperature is reached. From here it will remain constantly illuminated. If the temperature deviates by 3^ C or more the LED light will begin flashing again until the temperature is reached.
If you press and hold the °C/°F button the wine cooler's interior temperature will be displayed for a few seconds.
The cooling power of the device depends on various factors:
Ambient Temperature: The maximum achievable power depends, amongst other things, on the outside temperature. Rapid cooling is possible at a lower ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is very high, cooling may need more time.
Note: Ambient temperature below 16^ C or above 32^ C will hinder the performance of the appliance
Bottle Starting Temperature: A pre-cooled bottle is immediately kept cool.
Bottles that arent pre-cooled need more time to reach the desired drinking temperature.
