How do I pair the transmitter and receiver if the pairing is lost?

Turn off the transmitter. Connect the pushbutton switch to the receiver pairing connector. Turn on the monitor and receiver; the monitor will show 'NO VIDEO SIGNAL' for 2 seconds. Before the message disappears, press the toggle switch for more than 5 seconds. The monitor will show 'PLEASE PRESS PAIR KEY ON TX SIDE' and a 30-second countdown. Turn on the transmitter by putting the vehicle in reverse before the countdown reaches 0. The monitor will show 'WAITING FOR SIGNAL...' then 'PAIR OK'. Unplug the pushbutton switch.

What should I do if no image is displayed when the vehicle is in reverse?

Check if the receiver is properly connected to power. Also check that the cables between the monitor and receiver are plugged in tightly.

The monitor shows 'No Video Signal'. What could be wrong?

Ensure the transmitter is properly connected to the reverse light wires. Check the wireless signal strength (3 antenna bars on the monitor). Move the receiver to find the best signal and avoid areas where the receiver is blocked.

How can I improve the wireless signal strength?

Adjust the position of the receiver while monitoring the antenna bars on the display. Aim for at least 3 bars. Avoid metal obstructions and keep the receiver within 100m of the transmitter in open areas.

What is the installation procedure for the camera?

Find a suitable location, test fit the bracket, mount the bracket using provided screws, install the camera without fully tightening, then adjust and tighten. Mount the transmitter within 3 feet of the camera using double-sided tape and secure with cable ties. Seal the transmitter base with silicone to prevent dirt ingress.

How do I connect the camera to the vehicle's reverse light?

Disconnect the reverse light connector, strip the power and ground wires of the reverse light, then tap the red and black wires of the camera cable to the positive and negative wires respectively. Reconnect the reverse light connector.

Can the camera be used in the rain?

Yes, the camera and transmitter are waterproof with an IP 69K rating, making them suitable for outdoor and wet conditions.

What voltage range does the system support?

The camera operates on 12V to 24V DC. The transmitter and receiver also operate on +12V to +24V DC.

How do I connect the receiver to the monitor?

Connect the receiver's red wire to ACC (accessory power) and black wire to ground. Plug the yellow video RCA cable into the monitor's video input (monitor not included).

What should I do if the picture is distorted?

Ensure all cable connections between the camera and transmitter, and between the monitor and receiver, are correctly and securely linked.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Find a suitable place to install a camera. 2. Test fit the bracket to make sure there is enough space.

1. Use the screws provided to mount the bracket.

1. Install the camera to the bracket. Do not completely tighten the screws yet.

1. Below is how the camera should be installed. 6. Mount the transmitter no more than 3 feet from the camera.

1. Clean the surface where the transmitter will be mounted. 8. Attach the double sided adhesive tape to transmitter.

1. Press down on the transmitter to adhere to the surface.

1. Attach the 4 L brackets to surface using the screws provided.

1. Use the cable ties to securely fasten the transmitter.

1. We recommend putting silicone sealant around the base of the transmitter to prevent dirt from going behind the transmitter.

1. Disconnect the reverse light connector. 14. Strip the power and ground wires of the reverse light.

1. Tap the red and black wires of the CTR-01Q camera cable to the positive and negative wires.

1. Reconnect the reverse icon connector.

1. Organize the cable using zip ties and cable clamps.

1. Connect receiver's red wire to ACC and black wire to ground. Plug the Yellow video RCA to the monitor (not included).

1. Attach the double sided adhesive tape under the receiver. Do not remove the bottom liner of the double sided tape yet.

1. With the ignition turned to ACC, put the vehicle in reverse. Turn on the monitor and find the best direction for the receiver turning it until you see atleast 3 bars on the monitor.

HOW TO PAIR TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER:

The transmitter and receiver are already paired by default during production. There is no need to pair it again unless the pairing was deleted for some reason.

1. Turn off the transmitter. Connect the pushbutton switch included in the kit to the receiver pairing connector.
2. Turn on the monitor and receiver. The monitor will show "NO VIDEO SIGNAL" for 2 seconds.
3. Before the message disappears, press the toggle switch for more than 5 seconds. The monitor will show the message "PLEASE PRESS PAIR KEY ON TX SIDE". It will also start a count down to 30.
4. Turn on the transmitter by putting the vehicle in reverse gear before the count down goes to "0".
5. The monitor will not show "WAITING FOR SIGNAL..." then "PAIR OK". Pairing is not complete.
6. Unplug the pushbutton switch and keep in a safe place.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Q: No image is displayed once the vehicle is put in reverse.

A: Check if the receiver is properly connected to power.

Check if the cables between the monitor and the receiver are plugged in tight.

Q: No image is shown on the monitor and shows a message "No Video Signal".

A: Check if the transmitter is properly connected to the reverse light wires.

Check the strength of the wireless connection displayed by 3 antenna bars on the monitor. Move the receiver to find the best signal strength. Avoid areas where the receiver is blocked from receiving signals from the transmitter.

Q: Picture is distorted.

A: Make sure that the cable connections between the camera and transmitter are correctly linked. Make sure that the cable connections between the monitor and receiver are correctly linked.

Q: No image displays even though the antenna bar shows 3-4 bars.

A: Check the cable connections between the camera and transmitter and the camera power cable."

Q: Transmitter and receiver are not pairing.

A: The transmitter and receiver have already been paired during production. Incase the pairing has been deleted, please refer to the "How to pair transmitter and receiver" section on page 5.
