Frequently Asked Questions - ARU90AX-L Tisira

What is the minimum installation height for the ARU90AX-L rangehood?
The minimum distance between the hob surface and the lowest part of the rangehood is 600 mm for electric hobs and 650 mm for gas hobs. If the gas hob instructions specify a greater distance, that must be followed. Heights above 750 mm will compromise performance.
Can the ARU90AX-L be installed with ducting or as recirculating?
Yes, the rangehood can be ducted externally (top or side ducting) or used in recirculating mode with a carbon filter (not included). All ducting must comply with local regulations.
How do I clean the aluminium filters?
Filters should be cleaned monthly (or more often depending on use). They are dishwasher safe or can be washed in hot soapy water. Ensure filters are completely dry before reinstalling.
What type of lamps does the ARU90AX-L use and how do I replace them?
The hood uses 2 x 3W LED GU10 lamps. To replace, ensure the unit is off and lamps are cool. Twist the lamp anticlockwise to remove. Replacement lamps are available at hardware stores.
How do I operate the fan and light?
The fan has a 3-speed slide switch (off/low/medium/high) located on the left side of the control panel. The light has an on/off switch on the right side.
Is it safe to use the rangehood while cooking with gas?
Yes, but ensure adequate ventilation in the room. Do not flambé under the rangehood. The exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue used for gas appliances.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
The supply cord must only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard. Do not attempt to replace it yourself.
How do I clean the stainless steel surface?
Use warm soapy water and a soft non-abrasive cloth. In coastal or humid areas, clean more frequently to maintain the finish. Avoid harsh chemicals.
What is the warranty period for the Tisira ARU90AX-L?
Warranty details are provided with the proof of purchase. Retain your proof of purchase for warranty service. Contact the manufacturer or local distributor for specific terms.
Can I install the rangehood by myself?
Installation requires two people. It involves cutting cabinetry, running ductwork, and electrical connection. Follow the manual carefully. Failure to install properly may result in electrical hazards.
