The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line. According to Rule 2 (UNDERSCORE & LINE RULES), this is a stylistic or background line, not a placeholder underscore. Therefore, the OCR result must ignore it and output nothing or only meaningful text. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of four underscores. This is an incorrect interpretation of the line as a placeholder, violating the rule that stylistic lines must be ignored. The OCR has hallucinated placeholder underscores where none should exist in the GT. Hence, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.

MP3 Play (CD-R MP3 disc requirements)

DVD

When playing CD-R MP3 discs, please follow the recommendations below:

- Your MP3 files should be ISO 9660 or JOLIET format.

ISO 9000 format and Joliet MP3 files are compatible with Microsoft's DOS and Windows, and with Apple's Mac. These two formats are the most widely used.

- When naming your MP3 files do not exceed 8 characters, and place ".mp3" as the file extension.

General name format of: Title.mp3. When composing your title, make sure that you use 8 characters or less, have no spaces in the name, and avoid the use of special characters including :1,./:-,-.

- Use a decompression transfer rate of at least 128 Kbps when recording MP3 files.

Sound quality with MP3 files basically depends on the rate of compression/decompression you choose. Getting audio CD quality sound requires an analog/digital sampling rate (conversion to MP3 format) of at least 128 Kbps and up to 160 Kbps. However, choosing higher rates, like 132 Kbps or more, only rarely give better sound quality. Conversely, files with sampling rates below 128 Kbps will not be played properly.

- Do not try recording copyright protected MP3 files.

Certain "Secured" files are encrypted and code protected to prevent illegal copying. These files are of the following types: Windows MediaTM (registered trade mark of Microsoft Inc) and SDMITM (registered trade mark of The SDMI Foundation). You cannot copy such files.

- Your DVD player only accepts one level of file directory. Consequently you must choose:

- either to save all your MP3 recording files at the root of the disc;

- and/or create folders in the directory for each artist or music type (e.g. classical, rock, jazz, etc)

- Important: The above recommendations cannot be taken as a guarantee that the DVD player will play MP3 recordings, or as an assurance of sound quality. You should note that certain technologies and methods for MP3 file recording on CD-Rs prevent optimal playback at these files on your DVD player (degraded sound quality and in some cases, inability of the player to read the files).

Setting the delay time

You can customize the sound to best fit the specific acoustics of the room by adding a delay to the sound from the center and surround speakers.

The delay time is initially set to 0 ms.

◆You can enjoy the best sound during 5.1 channel surround playback if the distance between you and each speaker is the same. You can adjust the delay time for the center and surround speakers according to the placement of the speakers in the room.

◆For the center speaker

If the distance of Dc is equal to or longer than the distance of Df, set the delay time to 0 ms.

Otherwise, change the value according to the table. (A)=Df-Dc

◆For the surround speakers

If the distance of Df is equal to the distance of Ds, set the delay time to 0 ms. Otherwise, change the value according to the table shown on the right. (B)=Df-Ds

Ideal speaker placement

1 Center speaker

Place the speaker directly over or under the TV. But ideally, the center speaker should be positioned with the top surface flush with the front speakers...

2 Front speakers

Place the front speakers so that their tweeters (high-range) are aligned at about the same height as ear level and at a horizontal angle of 45^ with respect to the prime listening position.

3 Surround speakers

Place these speakers behind your listening position, facing slightly inwards, about 2 to 3 feet (60 to 90 cm) above ear level. If there isn't enough space behind the listening position (i.e., close to the wall), place the surround speakers at either side with their front surfaces facing each other.

4 Subwoofer

The position or orientation of the subwoofer is not as critical. Place it anywhere you want.
