Care & Use

Your Dash Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls come in 1.5 QT, 3 QT, and 5 QT sizes. Each bowl has a built-in pour spout, so you can easily transfer ingredients to pans or baking trays. Measurement markings on the 1.5 QT and 5 QT bowls make it easy to portion and mix with accuracy. The 3 QT bowl is a strainer that can be used cleaning vegetables or straining pasta.

The 3QT Mixing Bowl has a kickstand so it can rest easily on its side while straining.

Use easy-grip ergonomic handles for additional support when mixing or pouring.

Lids are included, corresponding to 1.5 QT and 5 QT Mixing Bowls. These can be used with the Mixing Bowl to store food, including in the refrigerator.

Your Mixing Bowl set is NOT suitable for use in microwave ovens. Your Mixing Bowl set is NOT suitable for use on any burner or oven.

Your Mixing Bowls Lids are top rack dishwasher safe.

NEVER subject the Mixing Bowls or Lids to sudden temperature changes as this will damage them.

NEVER use sharp or metal utensils, knives or implements with your Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl. To protect your bowls, we recommend using silicone, heat-resistant plastic or wooden tools.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Before first use, wash with warm water and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.

Always check the Stainless Steel Bowls for damage before use.

For regular care, clean your Stainless Steel Bowls with hot water, liquid detergent and a sponge. Scouring pads/scouring powder are not recommended. Nylon scouring pads are safe to use.

CAUTION: Do not use bleach, oven cleaners or chlorine-based products on your Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls as these are extremely corrosive to stainless steel (even when diluted) and can cause tiny pits to appear in the surface which may be unsightly and will affect cooking performance.

CAUTION: Be advised that stainless steel exterior finishes may become dull due to the abrasive nature of some dishwasher detergents. These effects are not covered under warranty.

To remove stubborn stains, or if food has been accidentally burnt inside the bowl, leave it to soak in hot water. Use a fine stainless steel powder cleanser with water to form a paste. Apply paste using a soft cloth and rub in a circular motion from the center outward. Wash in hot soapy water, then dry immediately to prevent tarnishing.

Your Dash product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase when utilized for normal and intended household use. Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty be discovered within one (1) year, Dash will repair or replace the defective part. To process a warranty claim, contact Customer Support at 1-800-898-6970 for further assistance and instruction. A Customer Support agent will assist you by troubleshooting minor problems. If troubleshooting fails to fix the problem, a return authorization will be issued. Proof of purchase indicating the date and place of purchase is required and should accompany the return. You must also include your full name, shipping address, and telephone number. We are unable to ship returns to a PO box. Dash will not be responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting from a purchaser's failure to provide any or all of the necessary information. Freight costs must be prepaid by the purchaser.
