How do I set the time on my Sekonda 4660.27 watch?

Pull the crown out to position B (date setting) or C (time setting). For non-date models, pull to position B. Turn the crown to advance the hands to the correct time. Ensure AM/PM by checking date change: if date changes at 12 o'clock, it's AM. Push crown back to position A.

How do I set the date?

Pull crown to position B. Turn clockwise or anti-clockwise to set the correct date. Avoid setting between 8.30pm and 1.30am as the date change cycle is in progress. Return crown to position A.

How do I set the day and date together?

For day/date watches, pull crown to position B. Turn clockwise or anti-clockwise to set date and day separately (depending on model). For some models, turn hands to advance day. Avoid setting between 8.30pm and 5.00am. Return crown to position A.

Is my Sekonda watch water resistant?

Check the caseback for "Water Resistant" or a depth rating. If marked, it is water resistant to that depth. If not marked, it should not be exposed to moisture. Buttons must not be operated while in contact with water. For water-resistant models, have seals checked annually.

How do I operate the chronograph if my watch has one?

Push button PB1 to start/stop the chronograph. Push PB2 to reset. If the chronograph hands are not at zero, pull crown to position C, then push PB1 to set chronograph seconds hand to 12, and PB2 to set minutes to 12.

How do I adjust the bracelet size?

The bracelet may have a multiple clasp system; open and remove one or both adjustable clasps to reduce size. Alternatively, follow the bracelet gauge instructions for pin removal. For free adjustment, return the watch to the service address.

What is the ELD display and how do I use it?

The ELD (Electroluminescent Display) illuminates the dial. Press PB1 to activate in subdued light. Use only for short periods (1-2 seconds) to conserve battery.

How do I set the moon phase?

For moon phase watches, pull crown to position B. Turn clockwise to set the correct moon phase using a separate leaflet for moon phase dates. Return crown to position A.

What is covered under the 2-year guarantee?

The 2-year guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover batteries, straps, bracelets, or damage from accident, misuse, or water penetration (unless marked water resistant). You must provide proof of purchase.

How do I service my watch under guarantee?

To service under guarantee, send the watch with the completed guarantee slip, proof of purchase, and a note explaining the fault, by registered post to the address in the manual. Do not send the presentation box.

If your watch is water resistant, it will clearly state "Water Resistant" or have a static water pressure indication (eg "30/50/100 metres") on the daily and/or caseback.

IfitisNOTmarkedaswaterresistant, it should not be allowed to come into contact with water or beworn in condition that could expose it to moisture (egwashing, heavy rainetc). Certain chemicals in water may damage the watch seals. Tomaintain its water resistance, were recommend that your watch is serviced and re-sealed at least every 12 months by SEKONDA.
