This instruction sheet covers the installation of the Nuvo 8" In-Wall and In-Ceiling Subwoofers. These subwoofers deliver powerful bass using reinforced polymer woofers. Optimized for in-wall or in-ceiling installation, these subwoofers offer a variety of discreet placement options to provide superior sound quality for your audio system.

Installation

STEP 1: Prepare the subwoofer placement locations. (Fig. 2 & Fig. 3)

a. Review the figure detailing the recommended placement for the subwoofers.

Note: Two subwoofers are not required for subwoofer placement. A second subwoofer is shown in a lighter color as a placement option only.

b. Place the subwoofer cutout template in the desired location.
c. Make sure the template is in alignment with any surrounding devices and does not interfere with lights or air vents.
d. Trace the outside of the template using a pencil. Remove the template.
e. Cut along the pencil line to clear the area for the subwoofer.

STEP 2: Wire the subwoofer. (Fig 4)

a. Strip 1/4 in. off of the end of the speaker wire.
b. Connect the speaker wire to the subwoofer.
c. Insert the subwoofer in the hole cutout, tucking the wires in carefully. Make sure not to pinch the wires.

Note: Identical models (up to a total of 2) can be wired together and connected to one amp. The models must be wired in parallel (+ with + and - with -). An optional second subwoofer is shown in a lighter color.

STEP 3: Finish the installation. (Fig 5)

a. Tighten the baffle mounting screws.
b. Place the grill on the speaker.
