Frequently Asked Questions - Medium Confidence MFQUS Chief

How do I determine if this mount is compatible with my TV?
Check your TV's VESA pattern (distance between mounting holes horizontally and vertically). This mount supports patterns from 200x200 to 600x400 mm. Also ensure your TV weighs less than 125 lbs.
What tools are needed for installation?
You will need a stud finder, drill, socket wrench, and a level. All mounting hardware is included.
Can I install this mount on drywall without hitting a stud?
No, this mount must be attached to wood studs or concrete. Drywall alone cannot support the weight. Use a stud finder to locate solid framing.
Does the mount tilt or swivel?
Yes, it offers +5° / -15° tilt to reduce glare and ±90° swivel for flexible viewing angles.
What is the maximum weight this mount can hold?
The maximum weight capacity is 125 lbs (56.7 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
Does the mount come with all necessary screws for my TV?
Yes, the hardware kit includes a variety of screws, washers, and spacers to fit most TV models. Refer to the manual for specific lengths.
How do I level the mount after installation?
Use a bubble level on the wall plate before tightening all bolts. Some models have micro-adjustment screws for fine-leveling.
Can I use this mount with a curved TV?
Yes, the mount is compatible with curved TVs as long as the VESA pattern is within range and the TV weight is under 125 lbs.
Does this mount include cable management?
Yes, the arms have built-in cable management channels to route wires neatly.
What is the warranty on this mount?
Chief offers a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
