How do I connect the Auray PBM-FS keyboard to my computer?

Simply plug the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard is plug-and-play and requires no additional drivers for Windows, macOS, or Linux.

The keyboard is not responding. What should I do?

First, check the USB connection. Try a different USB port. If it still doesn't work, restart your computer. If the issue persists, test the keyboard on another computer to determine if the keyboard is faulty.

Can I clean the keyboard with water?

No, do not use water or liquid cleaners. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with isopropyl alcohol (70%) and wipe carefully, then dry immediately.

Are the keycaps removable?

Yes, the keycaps are removable. You can pop them off carefully using a keycap puller or your fingers. Be gentle to avoid damaging the switches.

Does the keyboard have a backlight?

No, the Auray PBM-FS keyboard does not feature any backlighting. It is a standard non-illuminated keyboard.

What is the cable length?

The cable length is approximately 1.5 meters, which provides a comfortable distance from your computer.

Is the keyboard compatible with a PS/2 port?

No, the keyboard uses a USB connector. It is not directly compatible with PS/2 ports. If you need PS/2, use a USB-to-PS/2 adapter (not included).

Thank you for choosing Auray.

Auray's PBM-FS piano bench is perfect for the studio, stage, or home. Its sturdy construction will support up to 300 pounds, and the padded leatherette seat provides comfort through many hours at the keyboard. A storage compartment for sheet music and other accessories is located inside the bench. In case of wobbling, two feet are height adjustable to steady the bench on an uneven floor or stage.

Assembling the PBM-FS

1. Make sure the nuts on the attachment bolts are snug. If they seem loose, use the wrench to tighten them until secure.
2. Place the bench on a small, flat surface or on your lap, and open the bench so you can access the corner brackets.
3. Attach each leg to the corner brackets by inserting the bolts through the holes. Make sure both adjustable legs are attached to either the front or back.
4. Screw the nuts onto the bolts, and use the wrench to tighten until secure.
5. Once the legs are attached, place the bench upright to see if it wobbles.
6. If the bench sits on an uneven surface, determine which of the two adjustable legs needs to be lengthened. Turn the leg's height adjuster clockwise until all the legs sit evenly on the floor.

This AURAY product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider's responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider's discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.

This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Auray Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Auray along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
