Frequently Asked Questions - DCX83120B BEKO

What is the maximum capacity of the Beko DCX83120B dryer?
The maximum drying capacity is 8 kg for cotton programs, and varies for other programs (4 kg for synthetics, 2 kg for delicates, etc.). Always refer to the program table in the manual.
How do I clean the lint filter?
Open the loading door, pull the lint filter up, open it, and remove lint by hand or soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, wash the filter with warm water and dry completely before reinstalling. Clean after every drying cycle.
How often should I clean the condenser?
Clean the condenser every 30 drying cycles or once a month. Open the kick plate, unlock the two locks, pull out the condenser, and rinse with pressurized water (e.g., shower head). Allow to drain, then reinsert and lock.
What does the water tank warning light mean?
The warning light indicates that the water tank is full and needs to be emptied. Empty the tank and press Start/Pause to resume. If the light flashes during a cycle, the machine will pause until the tank is emptied.
Can I stack a washing machine on top of this dryer?
Yes, but only using a special stacking kit obtained from Beko or an authorized dealer. The washing machine must not be placed on top without the kit. Refer to the installation section for compatible depths.
How do I activate the child lock?
Press and hold the Sound Warning button and End Duration button simultaneously for 3 seconds. A lock symbol will appear on the display. Deactivate by pressing the same buttons again for 3 seconds.
Why is my laundry still damp after a drying cycle?
Possible causes: incorrect program selection, overloaded drum, clogged lint filter or condenser, or laundry not spun adequately. Check the filter and condenser, and ensure you use the appropriate program for the fabric type.
What is the 'Cottons Eco' program?
The Cottons Eco program is the standard energy efficiency program for cotton laundry. It is the most efficient in terms of energy consumption and is used for the energy label rating. Drying time is longer but consumes less energy.
How do I change the drum light?
The drum light is not user-replaceable. Contact Authorized Service to replace the lamp. The light is designed for assisting with loading and must withstand vibrations and temperatures above 50°C.
What should I do if the dryer doesn't start?
Check that the power plug is connected, the loading door is fully closed, a program is selected, and Start/Pause is pressed. Also verify that the child lock is off. If the water tank is full, empty it. If the problem persists, contact authorized service.

BEKO DCX83120B - Adding and removing laundry in stand-by mode - 1

NOTE

  • The laundry adding made after the drying operation started may cause the dried laundry inside the machine to mix with the wet laundry and the laundry to remain damp after the operation ends.
  • If a new program is selected by changing the position of the program selection knob while your machine is in stand-by mode, the running program ends.
  • Laundry adding and removing can be repeated as much as desired during drying operation. But this process would continuously interrupt the drying operation, and so would cause the program duration to lengthen and increase energy consumption. Thus, it is recommended to add laundry before the program starts.

BEKO DCX83120B - NOTE - 1

WARNING!

- Do not contact the inner surface of the drum when adding or removing laundry during a continuing program. The drum surface is hot.

When installed, the socket must be reachable after installation, or a separate switch (which can disconnect the two poles) must be used in the installation. Check for suitability. For a permanent connection, a master switch with at least 3mm contact clearance and a minimum 13 A rating must be used.

8.2 Electrical requirements

Before you insert the plug into the wall socket, make sure that the voltage and the frequency shown on the rating label correspond to your electricity supply. We recommend that this appliance be connected to the mains supply via a suitable switched and fused socket in a readily accessible position. Should the mains lead of the appliance become damaged or need replacing at any time, it must be replaced by a special purpose made mains lead which can only be obtained from an Authorised Service Agent.

BEKO DCX83120B - Electrical requirements - 1
