IntendedUse:-

YourBlack&Deckerstickblendersethasbeendesignedforblending,whisking,beating, whippingandchoppingfoodandbeverageingredients.Thisproductisintendedforindoor householduseonly.

BeforeusingyourStickblender:-

Remove all the packaging from the set. Wipethe appliance with adrycloth before using.

Makesurethattheapplianceisswitchedoffbeforeconnectingtoordisconnecting fromthepowersupply.

Ensure that the voltage rating on the base plate corresponds to themains voltage at your home.

Fittingandremovinganattachment:-

• Usetheblendingattachmentforblendingliquidsormashingsolids.
• Use the whisking attachment form mixing, beating, whipping and creaming liquids and mixtures.
• Usethechopperbowlforchoppingvegetables, nuts, driedfruitsetc.

BlendingandWhiskingSB35

• Tofitanattachment, placeitontothe appliance.
• Presstheattachmentuntilitlocksinplace.
• Toremovetheattachment, keep the release button pressed and take it off the appliance.

ChopperBowl:-SB34andSB35

• Holding the central plastic shaft of chopper blade carefully placethe blade over the central shaft in the bowl. Rotate the blades slightly for a proper fit on the shaft.
• Puttheingredientsintothebowl, not exceedingthe"Max"markonthe chopperbowl.
• Placethelidontothebowl
  • Fixthelidbyturningitclockwise
• Placetheapplianceontothechopperlid
• Pushtheapplianceuntililocksinplace
• Toremovetheattachment, keep the releasebuttonpressedandtakethe applianceoffthechopperassembly.
• Toremovethelidfromthebowl,turnthe lidcounterclockwiseandtakeitoff.

Usage:-

Blending:-

• Placetheingredientsintothemeasuringjugorasuitablecontainer.
• Usingthestabbingmotion, pushthebladesintotheingredientsuntilthedesired consistencyisreached.
• When blending liquids or fluiding ingredients, uses hortpulse stop prevent spillage.
• Keepingthebladesubmergedwillhelptopreventspillage.
• Extracareshouldbetakenwhileblendinghotingredients
• Donotuseyourplasticstemblenderforextremelyhotingredients, asthiswill deformthestem.

Whipping:

• Placetheingredientsintothemeasuringjugorasuitablecontainer.
• Whiptheingredientsuntilthedesiredresultsareachieved.
• Keeping the whippers submerged will help to prevent spillage.
  • Extracareshouldbetakenwhilewhippinghotingredients

Chopping:

• Placetheingredientsintothechopperbowl,uptothemaxlevel.
• Assemblethebowlandfitittotheappliance
• Choptheingredientsuntilthecorrectconsistencyisreached.
• Donotusethechopperperformorethanaminuteduringcontinuoususage. Keep anintervalofnearfiveminutesbetweenwoconsecutivecycles.

Storage :-

You can store your appliance and one of the blending sticks on the wall mounting bracket provided along with the appliance.

Warning!

Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. After operating the appliance continuously for 1 minute,, let it cool down for atleast 5 minutes before operating it.

Some Do's and Don't

1 - Do not touch moving parts

2 – Always allow motor to stop before approaching the blades or changing any accessory.

3 – Keep your fingers, long hair, loose clothes and supply cord away from moving parts

4 - Handle the blade with care as it is sharp

5 - Never pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the socket

6 - Keep the power supply cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges

7 - Do not place the appliance on or near heat source or in a heated oven

8 – Do not use the appliance outdoors. Always protect the motor unit from water or excessive humidity

9 - Operate the appliance only with dry hands

10- If the power supply cord is damaged during use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply immediately. Do not touch the power supply cord before disconnecting from the power supply.

11- When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry place. Children should not have access to stored appliances.

12- Never immerse your plastic stem (SB33/34) in hot/boiling liquid.

Black & Decker provides a 2 Year Warranty for this product from the date of purchase against defects due to defective materials or workmanship. Motor/element burn-outs due to voltage fluctuations are not covered under warranty. If the product should become defective within the warranty period, Black & Decker will repair or (at Black & Decker's discretion) replace it free of charge.

The warranty provisions do not cover failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or non observation of local regulations on the part of the user. Equally, the warranty provisions do not apply where the appliance has been serviced by a person not authorized by Black & Decker or serviced with non-approved parts and this has contributed to the fault of the product. Superseeded models without a replacement equivalent will either berepaired or (at Black & Decker's discretion) replaced with another product of similar retail value.

If mailing or shipping your appliance, ensure and remove all the water and pack it carefully in asturdycarton with enough packing material to prevent damage. Include anoted describing the problem to the service Centre and besure to give your return address.
