How do I set the time on my Sekonda Classic 1202?

Pull the crown out to position B. Turn it to advance the hands to the correct time. Then push the crown fully back to position A.

How do I set the date on my watch?

Pull the crown to position B. Turn it clockwise or anticlockwise to set the correct date. Push the crown back to position A. Avoid setting the date between 8:30 pm and 1:30 am.

Is my Sekonda Classic 1202 water resistant?

If the watch is marked 'Water Resistant' on the dial or caseback, it is water resistant to that specified depth. If not marked, it should not be exposed to water or moisture.

What is the warranty period?

The watch is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase. Batteries, straps, and bracelets are not covered.

How do I adjust the bracelet size?

You can return the watch to the address provided for free bracelet adjustment service: T.P. (UK) Ltd, Alexander House, Chartwell Drive, Wigston, Leicester LE18 2EZ.

Does the watch need winding?

No, quartz analogue watches do not require winding. The crown is only used for setting the time and date.

What should I do if the watch stops or runs inaccurately?

Check that the crown is pushed fully in to position A. If the problem persists, the battery may need replacement. Contact T.P. (UK) Ltd for service.

Can I swim with the watch?

Only if the watch is marked 'Water Resistant' to at least 50 metres. If not marked, avoid all contact with water. If marked 30 metres, it is splash resistant but not suitable for swimming.

How do I know if it is AM or PM when setting the time?

If the date changes when the hands pass 12 o'clock, the time is AM. If the date does not change, it is PM.

How do I maintain water resistance?

Have the watch serviced and re-sealed every 12 months by Sekonda. Do not operate the crown or buttons while the watch is in contact with water.

If your watch is water resistant, it will clearly state "Water Resistant" or have a static water pressure indication (eg "30/50/100 metres") on the daily and/or caseback.

IfitisNOTmarkedaswaterresistant, it should not be allowed to come into contact with water or beworn in condition that could expose it to moisture (egwashing, heavy rainetc). Certain chemicals in water may damage the watch seals. Tomaintain its water resistance, were recommend that your watch is serviced and re-sealed at least every 12 months by SEKONDA.
