How do I assemble the blender shaft?

Turn the blender shaft anti-clockwise to attach it to the motor body. To remove, turn clockwise. Always ensure the device is unplugged and switched off before assembly.

What is the maximum operation time?

The maximum continuous operation time is 1 minute. After that, allow the blender to rest for 3 minutes to cool down before using again.

How do I clean the blender shaft?

Remove the shaft from the motor body. Rinse it under running water or swish it in soapy water. Do not fully submerge the shaft in water, as it may affect the blade bearings. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Can I use the blender for hot liquids?

The manual does not specify hot liquids, but general safety advice recommends letting hot liquids cool before blending. Do not immerse the motor unit in any liquid.

What does the turbo button do?

The turbo button (high speed button) runs the blender at its highest speed continuously. The speed dial will not change the speed when turbo is pressed and held.

How do I adjust the speed?

While pressing and holding the low speed button, rotate the speed control dial from right to left to increase speed gradually. Release the button to stop.

Is the blender dishwasher safe?

No. The motor body must never be immersed. The shaft can be washed by hand only; do not put it in the dishwasher.

What is the warranty period and how to claim?

The product is guaranteed for 2 years from the original purchase date. To claim, return the faulty product to the place of purchase with proof of purchase. The warranty covers domestic use only.

Can I blend ice or frozen fruits?

The manual does not prohibit blending ice or frozen fruits, but ensure the operation time does not exceed 1 minute. Avoid overloading the blender.

What spare parts are available?

The replacement blender shaft assembly is available under part number SP20160-01. Order from the manufacturer or authorized retailers.

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

• Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. • Do not leave the appliance unattended during use. Always unplug the unit when not in use or before cleaning.
• Do not place the unit on a hot surface.
• Ensure that the unit is switched off after use.
• The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by improper or incorrect use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorised personnel.
• In case of technical problems, switch off the product and do not attempt to repair it yourself. Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination, adjustment or repair. HOW TO USE

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR HAND BLENDER

BEFORE USE

Remove all packaging. Wash the blender shaft in warm, soapy water (do not submerge). Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Before assembling the blender, be sure that the power cord is unplugged and switch is in the OFF position
• Turn the blender shaft clockwise to remove and anti-clockwise to refit - not the position guides on the body of the produt
• Lower the hand-held blender into food. Then press and hold the low speed button to start operating. At the same time you can select desired speed setting by dialing the speed control dial, the speed will get higher gradually when you dial the speed control dial from right to left
  • MAX operation time is 1 minute.

This should be more than enough for most operations. After 1 minute running, the unit should be rested for 3 minutes to cool.

• You also can start operating by pressing and holding the high speed button (turbo button), the appliance will operate at the highest speed all the time. The speed will not change even if you dial the speed control dial.
• To stop the hand-held blender release the low speed button or high speed button
• Warning: Do not put fingers or any utensil near the blades during operation

CLEANING

• Disconnect from mains power supply before cleaning.
• Do not submerge the appliance in water. This may lead to electric shock or fire.
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• THE BLENDER SHAFT CAN BE REMOVED AND RUN UNDER THE TAP OR SWILLED AROUND IN SOAPY WATER. PLEASE DO NOT TOTALLY SUBMERGE THE BLENDER SHAFT IN WATER, AS IT WILL AFFECT THE LUBRICATION USED IN THE BLADE BEARINGS.
  • Always rinse and dry thoroughly before storing with mixer
• QUICK CLEANING. Between processing tasks, hold the blender end in a cup half filled with clean water and trun on for a few seconds
• Please be careful when handling the blades as they are very sharp!
