The power cord of the washer is connected by Y shape. If must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

1. Water Supply Inlet

Connect here with the inlet hose from the water tap to feed water to the tub.

2. Water Selector

Select "WASH" to supply water for washing and rinsing and "SPIN" for spin shower rinse.

3. Soak Timer

Select the desired time for soaking washing or rinsing.

4. Wash Program

Set the program to "Gentle", "Normal", "Heavy" according to kinds and quantity of the laundry.

5. Drain Selector

Select" Wash Rinse" for washing and rinsing and "Drain" to drain the water out of the tub.

6. Spin Timer

Select the desired time for spinning. The maximum limit is 5 min. Don't rotate the knob more than prescribed limit.

Safety Precautions

  1. Make sure that the washing machine is plugged to a 3 pin/5A electrical outlet and earth terminal is provided on the outlet.
  2. Unplug the power supply cord when you do not use it.
  3. To disconnect the washing machine from electrical mains completely, pull out the plug and do not pull it from the mains cord.
  4. Don't allow your kids to look inside the washing machine while running.
  5. This washing machine is meant for washing clothes with water as a medium. Do not use petrol or other chemicals. This can result in fire and damage.
  6. Do not use water with temperature exceeding 50 degree C, as this deforms the plastic parts in the machine. If you desire to use warm water add hot water to cold water in the wash Do not pour hot water in an empty tub.
  7. Keep the machine away from flames and inflammable material. Do not expose the washing machine to direct sunlight or rain. Also avoid placing it in humid locations.
  8. Take Precautions not to pierce the control panel membrane sheet.
  9. Do not connect the earth wire to a phone wire, lightening rod.
  10. Do not press the button with an awl or a pin.
  11. Avoid overloading of wash and spin tub.
  12. Do not use wash & spin tub for water storage.

Care & Maintenance

Be sure to remove the power plug from main power supply before cleaning the machine and filter

Net Filter Cleaning

  1. Pull out the lint filter from the lock use fingers pull out at the part of the Lint Filters side.
  2. Turn the net inside out and clean with water.
  3. Set back to the original position. Insert the bottom first as shown press down and lock as the arrow.

Cleaning the Wash Tub

  1. After washing is complete, fill fresh water above the level of pulsator without adding clothes.
  2. Run the machine for 1-2 minutes turn the knob to "DRAIN" position when pulsator is still rotating.
  3. When water is completely drained out, turn the know to "WASH" position.
  4. Finally turn off the machine.

  1. Open the water tap and fill the wash tub about half way.
  2. Put in the laundry detergent and allow it to disperse well.
  3. Put in the clothes to be washed and add water in accordance with the amount of cloth load.
  4. Set the WASH TIMER as desired depending on the fabric type and the degree of soiliage.
  5. When washing is finished, set the Drain Selector to Drain

NOTE: Ensure that the clothes rotate freely during wash, if not, reduce the cloth load. (By removing some clothes from the machine)

Rinsing and Drying Rinsing

There are 3 ways to rines:

  1. Soak Rinse : Fill the wash tub appropriately for the number of clothing being washed. Set wash timer for 35 Minutes.
    (Soak/Rinse will begin) and clothes will Soak/Rinse for a period of 20 Minutes.
  2. After 20 minutes machine will switch to wash function and clothes will be washed for 15 Minutes. A Buzzer sound shall indicate the end of the wash period.
  3. Intermediate Spin Rinse: Put clothes inside the Spin Tub. Set Water Supply selected to SPIN TUB. Open the water tap and keep it open for one to two minutes and then close tap. Spin for one minute. When rinsing is over, set the Drain Selector to DRAIN. Do not keep the water tap open when the Spin tub is rotating, else machine will malfunction.

SPIN DRYING

Put clothes inside Spin Drum, distributing them evenly and ensure that the drain hose is lowered otherwise the machine will malfunction. After putting clothes in Spin Drum place spin Drum Cap over the clothes inside the tub to prevent them from flying out. Close the Spin Drum Lid. If the lid is not closed the Spin Drum will not rotate. Set the SPIN TIMER from 1 to 5 minutes according to the type of clothes. If the spin Drum starts shaking noticeably, open the lid and wait for the Spin Drum to stop spinning. Distribute the clothes evenly and re-start.

Usage instructions for semi-automatic washing machine

Step 1

■ Select the wash option (Heavy/Normal/Gentle) on the selector switch
■ Soak/Wash: Put clothes in the wash tub with water and detergent. Start the Soak/Rinse function.
- For the first 20 Minutes Soak/Rinse will work and after that clothes will be washed for the next 15 Minutes.

Step 2

■ Place the clothes in the spin tub.
■ Select spin timer for the time period required (For regular 5 mins / Turbodry 10mins)
■ This is required to remove excess soap
■ Will result in the first drying process for the clothes.

Step 3

■ Transfer clothes to the wash tub.
■ Rinsing: Fill in water only and select wash time for 3-4 minutes.
■ After this is complete, select the drain mode to drain out water

Step 4

■ Drying : Transfer clothes to spin tub and select spin time to complete final drying process.

Thank you for purchasing Intex product and we are sure you will enjoy it. In the unlikely event of your product requiring services please contact the nearest Intex Testing and repair Center (TRC) /designated Intex Care Partner (ICP). In case there is no such service center in your city please contact our Helpline No.:1860-208-5555 for assistance. We advise that you to read the instruction manual carefully before using the product.

Intex Technologies (India) limited (here after called "Intex") warranties the product during the offer terms in India shall have 2 year comprehensive warranty and 5 Year specific warranty on Wash Motor for All Semi Automatic and Fully Automatic models is applicable from the date of purchase. This non-transferable warranty is only for you, the first end user. If during this period of warranty of the product proves to be defective due to improper material for workmanship, Intex TRC/ICP will repair / replace the product free of charge subject to the terms and conditions mentioned below:

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Warranty will be valid only when the warranty card along with the original invoice or sale receipt (Indicating the date of purchase, model no. and dealer's name) is presented together with defective product and the extended specific warranty will be effective from 1st Oct 2016.
  2. This warranty Card is not applicable if it is not stamped or Original Invoice with TIN no. mentioning Product Serial Number is not produced at the time of repair.
  3. This Five (5) Years Specific Warranty on Wash Motoris applicable from date of purchase but service charges & visit charges are applicable from 3rd year onwards from the date of purchase.
  4. Intex reverses the right to decline warranty service, if the above documents cannot be presented or it the information contained is incomplete or tampered.
  5. This warranty shall not cover any damage resulting from adaptation or adjustments which may be made to the product.
  6. To avail Extended warranty, Customer shall register the product details at the Call Center No. 1860 208 5555 or Send SMS "WMEW [Product Serial Number]" to 9582943043 or register at www.intex.in
  7. This warranty will not apply if the type or serial no. on the product has been altered, remove or defaced.
  8. This warranty does not extend to any accessories defined in the operating instruction manual supplied with this Intex product.
  9. This warranty does not cover the damage cause to the product due to improper installation by customer and / or connecting the product to the equipment not approved by INTEX and deficiency in the product performance due to signal reception.

  10. This warranty does not cover the risk to the product caused by accident, lightening, water, fire, other acts of God, improper ventilation, dropping or excessive shock or any external caused beyond INTEX 's control.

  11. This warranty does not affect the consumer's statutory rights under applicable Indian Law, nor the consumer's rights against the dealer arising from their sales / purchase contract.
  12. Transportation cost (if required) will be bear by the customer.

This Warranty is not applicable in any of the following case:

  1. Installation of Hardware, Software and Networking.
  2. External accessories are not covered under warranty.
  3. Extended Warranty does not cover any other accessory or any other models, any defects/damages occurring directly/indirectly due to accessory of models.
  4. Intex is not responsible for the loss of your confidential, personal and corrupted date.
  5. Configuration of Drivers, Embedded Software, System / Data recovery.
  6. No retailer has authority to vary the terms of above warranty.
  7. Any repair work is carried out by persons other than Intex authorized service personnel.
  8. This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period as specified above, even if Intex product may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reasons.
  9. The product is installed, maintained and operated in ways other than as recommended by Intex.
  10. No Plastic parts covered under warranty (Knobs, wash lid, spin lid, base, panel, top cover, tub, lint filter, drain hose, inlet hose)
  11. Warranty valid only for residential use of the Product purchased during the Offer Term. The warranty shall become invalid in the following cases:
    · Commercial/Community/Public usage
  12. Unauthorized re-installation, altercation or modification of the Product.
    · Damage caused by accident, theft, riots, natural disasters etc.
  13. Accidental or internal damage due to electrical power inadequacy or fluctuating electrical power conditions including voltagefluctions, earthing issues.
  14. Damage to Product incurred while moving the equipment from one location to another or re-installing it after movement by unauthorized dealer/distributor/workmen/person, etc.
    · Product not being used according to instructions in the user manual.
    · Any repair carried out by person others than from an authorized INTEX Service Center
  15. Any disputes arising out of the warranty shall be exclusively settled at the Courts of Delhi.
