How do I start a wash programme?

Turn the programme selector dial to your desired programme, then press the Start button. Ensure water supply and door are closed.

What is the purpose of the Extra Rinse option?

The Extra Rinse adds one more rinse cycle to remove detergent residues, useful in soft water areas.

How do I set the spin speed?

Press the Spin Select button repeatedly to cycle through speeds until you reach the desired rpm. To exclude spin, set to "00".

What should I do after the programme ends?

The display shows "END". Turn the programme dial to RE-SET for about 5 seconds to prepare for the next cycle.

Can I use the Stain Action with any programme?

No, Stain Action is only available for Cotton and Synthetics programmes. It adds a short pre-wash at 40°C.

How often should I run the Antibacterial programme?

Run the 90°C Cotton/Antibacterial programme every 3-4 months without any laundry to refresh the machine and clean the seal.

What is the maximum load for the machine?

The maximum load is 7 kg for most cotton programmes. Delicate and wool programmes have lower loads; always check the programme chart.

How do I use the Time Delay function?

Press Time Delay repeatedly to set the delay from 1 to 16 hours, then press Start. The machine will begin after the set period.

What does the Easy Iron option do?

After the wash, the machine rotates the laundry for 30 minutes at 800 rpm to reduce creasing. It does not work on the Wool programme.

How do I clean the washing machine?

Use the 90°C Antibacterial programme without laundry every 3-4 months. Also clean the detergent drawer and filter regularly.

90°C Cotton / Antibacterial.	Antibacterial wash is perfect to refresh you machine and to cleanse the rubber seal on the porthole. Use once every 3-4 months and run the machine without any fabrics.	●

Note: For safety reasons the appliance will not allow a temperature higher than that defined in the wash programme.

Option buttons

The following option buttons are to be used in conjunction with wash programmes. They cannot be used on their own. Before selecting any wash programme or option you must always refer to the clothing care labels on your items of clothing.

Programme selector dial

To select a programme, turn the selector dial until the required programme number on the front panel is opposite to the indicator mark on the selector dial. When the knob is set, the duration of the chosen cycle in minutes appears on the display.

During the cycle the time shown decreases until 'END' appears, indicating the end of the program.

To start a programme, first ensure that the taps are fully turned on, the door is closed and the mains supply is switched on. Press the start button and then programme will start. When selecting a wash programme on an electronic machine, once your selection has been made the control knob remains in this position and DOES NOT move as the programme progresses.

To re-set the programme, or when the programme has finished its cycle turn the programme dial to the RE-SET position which prepares (and leave for approx 5 seconds) the machine for you to select its next programme.

Options (Are in addition to the Programme Selector Dial, they cannot be selected on their own).

Start

Once a programme selection has been made and any options (if required) have been selected press this button to commence the wash programme.

Easy-Iron

When this button is pressed, at the end of the wash cycle, the items loaded in the washing machine will continue to rotate for a further thirty minutes to reduce creasing. With this function enabled, the spin speed is 800 rpm. The function does not work for the "wool" program

Extra Rinse

The washing machine has been designed to reduce water consumption to a minimum. In very soft water areas, or in the case where detergent residues are noticed at the end of the wash cycle, pressing this button will add one more rinse to the program.

Eco Wash

When this button is pressed, the washing machine will run a wash cycle at the set temperature, though with a longer duration. The button is enabled for the "COTTON" and "SYNTHETIC" programs.

Stain Action

Press this button to obtain a short wash of maximum temperature 40^ C and approximately 10 minutes duration prior to the main wash.

This function can only be used, on the "COTTON" and "SYNTHETICS" programs. NOTE: when this option is used, detergent must also be added to the pre-wash detergent compartment.

Spin Select

The machine offers a wide choice of spin settings that can be selected before starting the program. To vary the spin setting just press button until the desired value is reached, if you wish to exclude the spin, press the button until "00" appears on the display.

Time Delay

The machine is equipped with a function that enables you to delay the wash for up to a maximum of 16 hours; each time button "Time delay" is pressed, the display will show the hours to wait from 1...to 16 before the machine begins the washing cycle. When key "Start" is pressed, the washing machine will wait the set number of hours and will then automatically begin the washing cycle.

Activation of the delay is indicated by the ashing of the dots on the display.
