Frequently Asked Questions - MiniVox Lite Anchor Audio

How do I install batteries in the MiniVox Lite?
Remove the battery compartment cover on the back panel by pressing the lock tabs. Slide out the battery pack and insert ten 'AA' alkaline batteries (or NiMH rechargeable) following the polarity labels. Slide the pack back in and close the cover.
How do I use the optional rechargeable battery kit?
Install the 10 NiMH batteries from the RC-30 kit. Insert the charger plug into the DC IN jack on the control panel. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. Charge for 4-6 hours for full charge. New batteries require 6 hours first charge.
What should I do if there is no sound?
Check that all cables are fully plugged in. Ensure the source device is playing and the volume is turned up. For wireless models, verify the transmitter power is on and the microphone is connected. Also check that the volume control on the MiniVox is turned up.
How do I avoid feedback?
Always point the microphone away from the speaker. Do not position the microphone in front of the speaker. Reduce the volume if feedback occurs. For wireless microphones, walk away from the speaker when using.
How do I set up the wireless microphone?
Set the channel selector on both the receiver (built-in) and the transmitter to the same channel. Turn on the transmitter power switch (red LED should flash). Turn on the MiniVox. The RX indicator will light when signal is received. For body-pack, plug the mic into the MIC jack on the transmitter.
How do I change the wireless channel?
Turn off both the transmitter and receiver. Rotate the CHANNEL selector knob on the receiver to a new channel. Set the transmitter's channel dial to the same number. Turn on the transmitter first, then the MiniVox. Check for clear reception.
What type of batteries does the MiniVox Lite use?
The main unit uses ten 'AA' alkaline batteries. The optional rechargeable kit uses ten 'AA' NiMH 2.5 AH batteries. The wireless handheld and body-pack transmitters each use two 'AA' alkaline batteries.
How long does the battery last?
With alkaline batteries, approximate life depends on usage. With the RC-30 rechargeable NiMH kit, fully charged batteries provide approximately 12 hours of operation.
How do I clean and maintain the MiniVox Lite?
Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals. Store in a dry place. For rechargeable batteries, cycle them by fully charging once a month during periods of infrequent use to extend battery life.
What is the warranty and how do I register?

DIVERSITY WIRELESS BY ANCHOR AUDIO

Anchor Audio UHF wireless is a 16 channel, diversity wireless system that utilizes two independent antennae to receive signals. The diversity feature means the receiver will process the stronger of the two antenna signals, effectively minimizing dropouts and interference from other transmitting sources. The antennae are mounted internally so there are no obstructions or risk of damage.

CHANNEL SELECTION - BUILT-IN RECEIVER

Before you can use your UHF wireless system, you will need to select a wireless frequency, set the built-in receiver, and microphone transmitter, to that channel.

  1. Choose from any of the 16 available wireless channels
  2. Set the wireless channel selector knob "CHANNEL" to the channel/frequency you have chosen
