How to Set Up the Unit

Connect the unit as shown.

Uncoil to its full extent and fix its end at the highest position in your room (see page 15 in the Operating Instructions). To Power Outlet To B.T. Socket

This apparatus is intended for use when powered by KX-A14BE and KX-A91E. Other usage will invalidate any approval given to this apparatus.

How to Operate the Unit

Charge the portable handset battery before initial
use.
The battery is beneath this cover.

Place the portable handset on the base unit for about 10 hours.

Extend the aerials fully during use.

POWER/RINGER Switch: Set to "ON", or the portable handset will not operate or ring. POWER/RINGER OFF ON TALK Button PROGRAM Button BATT LOW/PROG Indicator AUTO Button CH Button DALLING MODE PULSE TONE DIALLING MODE Selector: Set to "TONE". If your telephone line has rotary service, set to "PULSE".
