Operating the Kettle
Before using the kettle for the first time it is recommended that you boil a full kettle of water twice and discard the water to remove any impurities.
1) To fill the kettle, remove the plug from the power socket and remove the lid. Fill the kettle with only the amount of water you need. Do not fill the kettle past the MAX level mark as this may cause boiling water to be expelled. Ensure you replace the lid correctly. 2) Place the kettle on a stable, flat surface out of the reach of children. 3) Plug into a suitable power outlet, ensuring that the cable is not overstretched or could be accidentally caught. 4) Turn the kettle on using the switch. The indicator will light up and the kettle will begin to boil. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has reached boiling point. 5) Lift the kettle and pour carefully so as not to cause any injuries. 6) Always unplug the power cord from the electrical supply when not in use.
NOTE: The kettle can be manually switched off at any time by interrupting the power supply.
Boil Dry Protection
Should you accidentally operate this kettle without any water, the Boil Dry Protection will automatically switch the power off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool down before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
