TO USE
- Turn the heater to the "OFF" position before plugging in.
- The operating temperature is selected by a combination of the power switch and thermostat. The hottest setting will be when the heater is at the "High" setting and thermostat is turned to "Maximum".
-
To determine the correct working temperature for your conditions, turn the heater to "High" and the thermostat to "Maximum". The power light will be activated and the heater will start. When a comfortable temperature has been reached turn the thermostat slowly anticlockwise until the heater turns off. The temperature will now be kept constant.
-
If you want to lower the operating temperature select the "Low" heater setting and repeat the above process.
-
For air circulation only (no heat) select "Fan only".
-
The heater is fitted with an automatic cut out in the event that it overheats. If this activates, turn the heater to the off position and un plug. Allow the heater to cool and remove anything restricting the airflow before using the heater again. If the automatic cut out operates repeatedly contact a qualified electrician for advice.
NOTES
● The power lamp will be on if the temperature is below the setting of the thermostat.
● For maximum benefit, close windows and doors.
- Do not cover the ventilation holes as this will cause overheating and will activate the cut out.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To maximize the efficiency of the heater clean regularly.
- Switch power switches to "OFF" position, unplug and allow the heater to cool.
- Wipe surfaces with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives as this will scratch the surface.
- Ensure the intake grill is free from dust, as this will reduce the airflow. Light accumulated dust can be removed with soft cloth or vacuum cleaner.
- Allow surface to fully dry before using the heater again.
