How do I connect my cable or antenna to the TV?

Connect the coaxial cable from your cable service or antenna to the RF Input on the back of the TV. Press the Source button to select TV mode, then go to Setup > Channel > Auto Scan to search for available channels.

How do I set up parental controls (V-Chip)?

Press Setup on the remote, navigate to the Lock icon, and enter the default passcode 0000. You can then enable V-Chip to block content based on US or Canadian ratings, lock the TV buttons, or lock specific inputs.

Why is there no sound coming from the TV?

First, check that the volume is not muted (Mute button) and that the volume level is adequate. If using external devices, ensure the correct input is selected. For optical audio output, set the Digital Audio Output to PCM in the TV setup menu.

Can I mount this TV on a wall?

Yes, the TV supports a VESA 200x200 mm wall mount pattern. Use M6 bolts (15-25mm length depending on mount thickness). We strongly recommend professional installation.

What file types can I play via USB?

The USB port supports JPEG images and audio files (e.g., MP3). Video files are not supported. Insert a USB drive, press Source, and select Media mode.

How do I scan for channels?

Press Source to switch to TV mode, then press Setup. Arrow to the Channel icon, select Air/Cable to choose your signal type, then select Auto Scan and press Enter. The scan may take up to 15 minutes.

How do I adjust the picture settings?

Press the Picture button on the remote to cycle through presets (Standard, Soft, User, Dynamic). For custom adjustments, access Picture Settings in the Setup menu after selecting User mode.

How do I set the sleep timer?

Press the Sleep button repeatedly on the remote to select the desired time (e.g., 30 min, 60 min). The TV will automatically turn off after the set time.

How do I switch between different input sources?

Press the Source button on the remote. Use the Arrow keys to highlight the desired input (e.g., HDMI, AV, YPbPr, PC) and press Enter to select it.

How do I clean the TV screen?

Use a dry, soft cloth to gently wipe the screen. Do not use any liquid cleaners, abrasives, or harsh chemicals as they may damage the screen.

Setup

Some pixels may be visible on the screen, appearing as tiny red, green, blue or black spots. This is normal and is not a defect on the TV, and does not negatively affect the performance or picture quality.

Connecting the Stand

When placing TV on flat surface, be careful not to push, scratch, or otherwise damage the front of the TV and LCD screen. Using a phillips-head screwdriver, tighten the screws by hand. Using a power drill could damage the TV stand.

Connecting Cable/TV Antenna

You will need: a cable/antenna wire (not included).

1. Connect the Cable/Antenna wire to the input on the television.
2. Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
3. Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
4. Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the Channel icon, and press the Enter button.
5. Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Air/Cable. Press the Arrow (◀▶) buttons to select AIR or Cable.
6. Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Auto Scan. Press the Enter button to begin scanning for available channels.

Connecting HDMI

You will need: a device that supports HDMI and a HDMI cable (not included).

1. Connect the device's HDMI output to the HDMI input on the television.
2. Press the Source button to switch to the connected input HDMI.
   Note:
   HDMI offers superior sound and picture quality when compared to Composite or other connection types, and is the easiest way to connect your media devices to the television.

Connecting Composite Audio/Video

You will need: composite video (yellow) and RCA stereo (red, white) cables (not included).

1. Connect the video output on your media device to the corresponding color coded video inputs on the television with a Composite Video cable.
2. Connect the audio output on your media device to the corresponding color coded audio input on the television with stereo RCA cables.
3. Press the Source button to switch to the connected input AV Composite.

Connecting Component (YPbPr) Video/Audio

You will need: component video (green, blue, red) and RCA stereo (red, white) cables (not included).

1. Connect the audio output on your media device to the corresponding color coded audio input on the television with stereo RCA cables.
2. Connect the video output on your media device to the corresponding color coded video inputs on the television with a Component Video cable.
3. Power the television on and press the Source button to switch to the connected input YPbPr.

Connecting a Computer

You will need: a PC with a VGA output, and a VGA cable (not included).

1. Connect the computer's VGA output to the VGA/PC Input on the television.
2. Press the Source button to switch to the PC Mode.
3. Audio from the connected PC can be input to the television through the TV's PC Audio Input by using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

Connecting Optical Audio

You will need: a receiver with a Digital Optical Input and a Digital Optical Audio Cable (not included).

1. Connect the Digital Optical Audio Cable from the Optical Output on the television to the Input on the receiver.
2. Set the receiver to accept the Optical Input source from the television.

Please Note:

Home theater systems may label the Digital Optical Out source differently, such as "PCM", or "Digital Audio Input". Please consult your home theater system's user manual in order to select the correct input source.

If there is no sound, be sure the Digital Audio Output is set to PCM (under the screen in TV Setup).

1. Connect a RCA cable to the Audio Output on the unit and an audio input on an external stereo system.

Auto Scanning for Channels

The Auto Channel Scan must be run before any channels can be viewed on the television.

1. Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
2. Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
3. Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the CHANNEL icon. Press the Enter button.
4. Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Air/Cable. Press the Arrow (◀▶) buttons to select AIR.
5. Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Auto Scan. Press the Enter button to begin scanning for available channels.

Note: Initial channel scanning process may take up to 15 min.

Parental Controls (V-Chip)

1. Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
2. Press the Setup button.
3. Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight Lock, and press the Enter button.
4. Enter the default passcode to access the Lock preferences. The default passcode is 0 0 0 0.
5. From this menu, you can lock out specific ratings from the United States rating system or the Canadian rating system by accessing the V-CHIP settings. You can also lock the buttons on the television or lock specific sources from access.

Setting Favorites

1. Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
2. Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
3. Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the Channel icon. Press the Enter button.
4. Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight the Favorites icon. Press the Enter button.
5. Use the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to select the desired channels and then press the Enter button.

Viewing Favorites

1. Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
2. Press the Favorites button to view a list of your saved favorites.

Setting the Clock

1. Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
2. Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the Time icon, and press the Enter button.
3. Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Time Zone, and press the Arrow (◀▶) buttons to select your current time zone.
4. Press the Arrow(▲▼) buttons to highlight Auto Clock, and press the Arrow(◄►) buttons to turn auto clock on or off. When the correct time zone is set, auto clock will automatically set your clock and date for you.
5. To set the time and date manually, turn Auto Cock off, highlight Clock, and use the Arrow and Enter buttons to manually set the time and date.

Using a USB Thumb Drive

Please note that this unit only supports JPEG and audio files. Video file types are not supported

1. Load a USB thumb drive into the USB Port on the back of the television.
2. Press the Source button to switch to Media mode.
3. Use the Arrow and Enter buttons to select and play content from the connected USB thumb drive.
