Press FUNCTION then 9 (or as per manual). Enter a two-digit speed dial number, then press SET. Input the fax number using the keypad and press SET again. You can also assign a name using the alphanumeric keys.

Open the paper cassette cover and remove any jammed paper carefully. If the jam is inside, open the top cover and gently pull out the paper. Avoid tearing the paper. Close all covers and press START to resume.

How do I replace the toner cartridge?

Open the top cover. Pull out the used toner cartridge gently. Unpack the new cartridge, shake it gently to distribute toner, and insert it into the drum unit until it clicks. Close the cover. The display should show 'TONER OK'.

How do I clean the rollers?

Unplug the fax. Open the top cover and gently wipe the rubber feed rollers with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use alcohol. Let dry completely before closing.

What do the error codes mean?

Error codes like #001 indicate specific issues (e.g., paper jam, communication error). Refer to the manual's error code table. Common ones: #001 = no document, #022 = line error. Press STOP to clear and retry.

Can I use this fax with a phone line?

Yes, the TF605 has a built-in telephone handset and can be connected to a standard analog phone line. Use the provided LINE jack to connect to the wall outlet. It supports tone and pulse dialing.

How do I set the date and time?

Press FUNCTION then 1 (or as per manual). Use the keypad to enter the date (DD-MM-YY) and time (HH:MM). Press SET to confirm. The display will show the current date and time in standby.

How do I activate energy saving mode?

Press FUNCTION then 2 (or as per manual). Use the arrow keys to select ENERGY SAVING and press SET. Choose ON or OFF. When active, the device will power down after a period of inactivity.
