Frequently Asked Questions - EcoStone SteelCurve2000HC Climastar

How do I clean the ceramic cooktop?
Use a ceramic hob cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges. For burnt residues, gently scrape with a razor blade scraper.
Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?
Yes, but avoid covering the oven floor entirely. Use foil on baking trays to catch drips. Do not let foil touch the heating elements.
The oven is not heating up. What should I check?
Verify that the power supply is connected and the circuit breaker is on. Check the oven function selector and temperature settings. If problem persists, contact support.
How do I set the child lock?
Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until a key symbol appears. To unlock, repeat the same process.
What is the maximum temperature for the oven?
The maximum temperature is 250°C (482°F). Do not exceed this for extended periods.
How often should I replace the oven light bulb?
Replace the bulb when it burns out. Use a 25W 300°C oven bulb. Disconnect power before replacement.
Can I cook with both oven and cooktop simultaneously?
Yes, the cooker is designed for simultaneous use. Ensure total power draw does not exceed the household circuit rating.
Why is the cooktop making a ticking sound?
Ticking sounds are normal for ceramic hobs during heating and cooling cycles due to thermal expansion.
How do I remove stubborn stains from the oven interior?
Apply a paste of baking soda and water to the stains, let it sit for 15 minutes, then wipe with a damp cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
What is the recommended preheat time?
Preheat the oven for 10-15 minutes to reach desired temperature. Use oven thermometer for accuracy.
