What is the LL-VWM-BPK used for?

Does this backpan require tools for installation?

Yes, a No. 2 Phillips Driver is required to install the brackets using the provided bonding screws.

How do I install the Lever Lock backpan plate?

First install the brackets onto the backpan using 4 bonding screws (2 per side). Then insert the side of the plate without the clip into the brackets, and push the side with the clip until it clicks into place.

Can I secure the plate more permanently?

Yes, you can install the plastic securing rivet into the hole to permanently secure the clip.

Can the plate be installed at different depths?

Yes, the plate can be installed at different depths, but all four corners must be inserted at the same depth for proper function.

What screws are included for mounting the brackets?

Six 6-32 x 5/16 Phillips bonding screws are included, though only four are needed for installation.

What are the plate washers for?

The 20 Lever Lock plate washers are provided for convenience when mounting equipment onto the plate.

Is the LL-VWM-BPK compatible with all VWM racks?

1. Use (4x) 6-32 x 5/16 bonding screws (B, 2 per side) to install the brackets (A) into any of the following backpan locations. (FIGURE A)

CAUTION! The bonding screws must be used as explained to ensure proper bonding.

NOTE: The bracket bonding screw holes are located on the inside edges of the backpan. Each bracket is assembled as shown. (FIGURE B)

1. Insert the side of the Lever Lock backpan plate (C) without the clip into the brackets (A) first. Then install the side with the clip until it clicks into place. (FIGURE C)

NOTE: Install plastic securing rivet (D) into hole to secure the clip more permanently, if desired.

NOTE:

• The Lever Lock backpan plate may be installed on the brackets at different depths. All 4 corners of the Lever Lock backpan plate must be inserted into the brackets at the same depth in order to function correctly.
  • (20x) Lever Lock plate washers (E) are provided for equipment mounting convenience.
