INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the infrared body thermometer.
Infrared Thermometer TI7150 is mainly used for patient's body temperature measurement. Usually it is operated by medical staffs, patient himself or his families. And it cannot be used for life support or rescue. It will not cause any accident even if the device is invalid. It cannot be used for special or emergency measurements. Suitable for all different ages, infrared body thermometer is used for monitoring human body temperature. This infrared thermometer can be also used to measure the temperature of objects such as bath water, milk or others. Its non-contact design makes this infrared thermometer safer and cleaner than most of other thermometers. This infrared thermometer can even be used while a child is sleeping.
'Intensive measurement technology' has been adopted, which is with exclusive patent. The thermometer will measure many times one second. The measuring data will be more correct because the average value will be displayed.
Please read the following instructions carefully before operation. With proper care and use, it will be reliable for many years.

Taking a Reading - Object

If the thermometer is off, press the 'Power' button to switch the thermometer on.
-
Press 🔊 ➕ button to set the mode of object measurement. The screen should appear the follow picture.

Aim the front of the thermometer at the object. Hold the thermometer approximately 3 to 5 cm.
-
Short press the button. The screen should appear the follow picture:

Heading beep, the temperature measurement value will be displaced for 2 seconds. The display will illuminate for 3 seconds.
-
The thermometer will automatically beep and shut-off after approximately one minute of non-use. Memory Recall.
-
Press the 'button to recall up to 10 measurement results stored in memory.

Thea symbol 🔒 or symbol ⚙ will indicate a person or object temperature which was taken.
-
The happy face 😊 or sad face 😊 symbol will appear 5 seconds after viewing the measurement results stored in memory.
NOTE:
After 10 measurement results have been stored in the memory, the oldest reading will be automatically deleted.
Clearing Memory

Press the Power button to turn the thermometer on.
-
To clear the memory, simply hold the button down until the thermometer beeps and two horizontal lines appear.
Cleaning & Storage
To ensure accurate measurements, clean the lens before and after each use. Fingerprints and dirt can cause inaccurate readings.
To Clean
- Use an alcohol swab or a soft cotton swab moistened with alcohol to clean the thermometer lens.
- Do not use paper towels, because the fibers may scratch the lens.
- Do not use water to clean the lens or thermometer.
- Only use a soft dry cloth to clean the thermometer
- Make sure that liquid won' tenter the interior of the thermometer.
- Never use abrasive cleaning agents, thinners or gasoline to clean.
- Do not immerse into water or other cleaning liquids.
TO STORE
- Remove the battery if the thermometer will not be used for an extended period of time.
- Store in a sun-free and dust-free dry area at a temperature between -25^ - 55^ (-13°F \~ 131°F) with relative humidity not exceeding 95%.
- Protect the thermometer from severe impact or shock. Keep stored in the protective storage bag.

The measurement result of this IR thermometer is not intended as a substitute for consultation with your physician.

WARNING
It is very dangerous if the patients make self-judgment and treatment according to the measurement results. So please get the treatment according to the doctor's guidance. Self-judgement may worsen the illness. The thermometer is only for forehead temperature. So don't use for other parts (such as in the ear).
Otherwise, the thermometer may hurt the body.
If the infrared probe is damaged or dirty, it may cause incorrect measurement results. When the infrared probe is dirty, please wipe with soft and dry fabric gently.
Keep the thermometer in measure location for 30 minutes before operation if there is a big difference in temperature between storage site and measuring site.
Do not measure body temperature within 30 minutes after meal, sports or bath.
Otherwise measurement results may get incorrect. Please note the battery polarity when replace the battery
Otherwise it may cause leakage, heat, rupture even damage to the thermometer.
The thermometer should be used in working temperature range, please check the product label.
Otherwise the infrared thermometer may not work or make the measurement incorrect. The operator cannot touch battery and patients at the same time
Please pay attention to the angle of the thermometer's front part to prevent hands from scratching

IMPORTANT NOTE
Keep the infrared body thermometer far from the place where kid can touch.
The measurement result cannot be substituted for the consultation from doctors
Keep product in place away from direct sunshine, high temperature, heavy humidity, dust, fire-side, easy shock and vibration areas.
Please do not use the thermometer in electromagnetic interference environment

REPLACING THE BATTERY
When the battery symbol ☐ appears on the screen, the batteries will need to be replaced soon. When the letters 'LO' and the battery symbol appears ☐ on the display, the batteries need to be replaced before taking another measurement. Rechargeable batteries also can be used in this thermometer.
- Gently slide the battery cover back.
- Carefully remove the old batteries and properly discard.
- Insert new batteries according to the proper polarity
- Slide the battery cover back on.

NOTE:
Please properly dispose of the batteries away from children and heat.
Please remove the battery if you do not use the infrared thermometer for a long time.
In order to protect the environment, please send the waste batteries to the appropriate
collection points according to the national or local laws.
OPERATING GUIDE
Switching Between Person or Object
- Press the 'Power' button to switch on the thermometer
- Press and hold both the 🔊 ➕ ➕ button to change the measuring mode of person and object.

NOTES:
a. Anthropometric mode: the measurement results have been amended to the oral temperature.
b. Objects mode is calibration mode. Calibrate once every two years.
Switching Between Fahrenheit or Celsius
- Press the 'Power' button to switch on the thermometer.
- Press and hold both the 🔊 and 📋 buttons for about 3 seconds. This will change the mode to either °F or °C. Once the thermometer beeps, the unit is ready for measurement.

Taking a Reading-Person
- If the thermometer is off, press the 'Power' button to switch the thermometer on.
- Please remove hair, aim the front of the thermometer upon the person's forehead. Hold the thermometer approximately 3 to 5 cm away from the forehead.
NOTE: Attempting to take a measurement anywhere else on the body may result in an inaccurate reading.

Short press the ⚫ button. The screen should appear the follow picture.

Heading beep, the temperature measurement value will be displaced for 2 seconds. The display will illuminate for 3 seconds.
NOTE: A happy face symbol 🕒 will appear on the display if the temperature is below 38.0°C (100.4°F). If the temperature reading is above 38.0 °C (100.4°F), a sad face symbol 🕒 will appear.
If the temperature is outside of the thermometer's sensory range, 'LO' or 'Hi' will appear on the display. However, if the temperature is outside of the thermometer's permissible measurement range, 'Err' will appear on the display.

The thermometer will automatically beep and shut-off after approximately one minute of non-use. Helpful Hints

For accurate results, please do the temperature measurement at least 30 minutes after exercising, bathing or returning from the outdoors.
- Wait at least 1 minute between 2 measurements
- If multiple readings are taken in a short period of time, use the average of those readings.
- Because everyone's temperature varies slightly, keep a record of your body temperature to serve as a reference when judging a fever.
