WARNINGS
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance shall not be used by children from 0 year to 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they are continuously supervised. This

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the appliance on a stable flat surface while in use.
- When using the appliance, please make sure that adequate air space is provided above and on all sides of the appliance for circulation.
- Always turn the temperature control to the MIN position and then disconnect the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, before moving or cleaning.
- Do not position and use this appliance near flammable materials such as curtains.
- The use of any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving fondue containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the fondue pot, holder and forks in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly. Wipe surfaces of heating base with a slightly damp cloth and dry.

OPERATION
- Place the heating base on a level, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
- Plug the heating base into the mains socket.
- Make sure that the thermostat knob is set at the MIN position.
- Turn the thermostat knob to the MAX position to heat up the heating base for 5-8 minutes.
• The red indicator light will illuminate.
- When you using the appliance for the first time, there may be a slight odour and smoke emitted. This should disappear after a few minutes and it is normal.

Add the required amount of chocolate, cheese and other ingredients in the fondue pot.

Do not fill the fondue pot with ingredients past the MAX fill line.
• To melt quickly and evenly, it is recommended to use diced or
grated cheese and chocolate broken in small pieces. -
Place the pot on the heating base.

Position the fork holder on the top of the fondue pot.

Make sure that the rim of the fork holder sits firmly on the edge of the fondue pot.
- Adjust the thermostat knob to the required setting.
- During cooking, the red indicator light will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
- Stir constantly until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- Use the fondue forks to prick foods for cooking or dipping. Be careful not to scratch the non-stick surface when placing forks in the pot.
- Dipping foods should be cut into bite-sized pieces. Meats can be cut into cubes or strips. For potatoes, it is best to steam them until tender but still firm.

To make oil fondue, it is recommended to heat up the oil on we but please be extremely careful when pouring the hot oil oil fondue pot.
- After cooking, turn the thermostat knob to the MIN position and disconnect the appliance from the mains socket.
• The red indicator light will go out.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down to room temperature before cleaning.
Clean the fondue pot, holder and forks in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
Clean the heating base using a slightly damp cloth.
Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
Never use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from different types of food, the use of hot clean water with a mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.
Correct food hygiene practises should always be followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning /cross contamination.
