Please read this manual carefully before operating your set.
Retain it for future reference.
Record model number and serial number of the set.
See the label attached on the set and quote this information to your dealer when you require service.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions in this booklet carefully.
- Do not operate the appliance with damaged power cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or if it was dropped or damaged in any manner. Kindly return the appliance to the nearest authorized dealer or after-sales service centre for examinations, repairs, electrical or mechanical adjustments.
- Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product identification marking.
- Do not unplug by pulling the power cord. To unplug, grasp the plug firmly.
- Do not handle the plug or any other parts of the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while operating. Ensure the appliance is powered off before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations.
- Never use methylated spirits or other solvents to clean the appliance.
- Do not put any objects into the hose inlet. Keep it free from dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce airflow.
- Turn off all controls before unplugging the appliance.
- Take extreme care when cleaning on stairs.
- Do not use the appliance to suck flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not use the appliance to suck anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
- Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow the plug to whip freely when rewinding.
- Unplug the appliance before connecting the hose.
- Do not use without filter in place.
- Never use any accessories or parts other than ELBA's.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is operating near children or infirm persons. Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- This appliance is for domestic use only and not for commercial applications.
- Do not use this vacuum cleaner outdoor.
- Do not operate it for purposes other than its intended use.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the usage of this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Save these instructions for future reference.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
If the floor brush, nozzle or the hose are blocked, disconnect the blocked item(s) immediately.

- Do not operate the appliance near heat generators like radiators, cigarette butts etc.
- Do not use the main wire to carry the appliance and pull the main wire over sharp edges.
- Do not use the appliance to suck anything that is burning or smoking, such as burning cigarette butts, lighted matches or hot ashes.
- Do not use the appliance to suck liquids.
- Before operating the appliance, ensure that the air intake or outlet vent is not obstructed by objects on the floor to prevent the filter from being blocked or damaged.
- Do not use the appliance to suck sharp objects of any size, such as needles, pins etc to prevent the filter from being damaged.

ASSEMBLE THE VACUUM CLEANER
*Note: Always remove the plug from the wall outlet before fitting or removing the accessories.
Fitting the flexible hose
- Insert the flexible hose into the hose inlet of the appliance body. Press until it clicks into position firmly.
- To remove the flexible hose, press the clip position down of the hose (where the hose is connected to the air inlet duct) and pull the hose firmly from the air inlet duct.

- Connect the extension tube to the flexible hose by holding the handle.

Power on the appliance
Insert the power plug to the wall outlet and power on. Press the power button on the product body. The appliance is now ready for use.

Power cord rewind button
To rewind the power cord, press the rewind button on the product body with one hand, and guide the cable with the other hand to prevent cable from whipping.

To remove dust from the dust tank
- Press the dust tank release button by the end of the dust tank handle. Pull out the dust cup by holding the dust tank handle.

Before storing the filter assembly, make sure it is dry and clean.
To clean the filter foam
• After removing the filter assembly by pressing the release button, take out the filter foam.
- Clean the filter foam by using soft brush and rinse it under clean tap water.
Ensure it is completely dry before using it again.
- This is a washable filter, therefore it is recommended to clean the filter consistently to ensure optimal suction power.
