MOUNTING SUGGESTIONS

I. IMPORTANT: For accurate air temperature measurement, choose a mounting location that will not expose the thermometer to direct sunlight.

  1. The bracket may be attached to either the left or right side of the thermometer.
  2. The bracket may be formed over a table edge to provide an angled mounting position. Bend at the side near the round holes in the bracket.
  3. The thermometer may be mounted on a flat surface without a bracket by using the hanger located on the back side.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Attach the formed bracket to the window frame with two No.6 screws.
  2. To attach the thermometer to the bracket:

A. Position the bracket so the rectangular slots are over the tabs on the back.
B. Support the bracket with your fingers and push the thermometer onto the bracket with your thumbs.

SEPARATED FLUID

This is a quality instrument manufactured with the finest facilities and materials. Occasionally, rough handling in shipment or improper storage may cause the red liquid to separate slightly. This is not a defect. The liquid can be reunited easily before installation. First, remove from the card. Tap the side of the thermometer, bulb end down, as illustrated, against the palm of the hand. Pause between taps to permit liquid to run down tube. Continue until liquid is completely joined.
