USER MANUAL 38664 Stauer
TO SET THE TIME

Pull the crown (part B) out to position "2" and rotate it to the desired time.

Once the correct time is set, push the crown back into "0" (zero) position. The Second Hand (part F) will start to run.
TO SET THE DATE
-
Pull the crown (part B) out to position “1” and rotate it clockwise (away from you) to the desired date (part E).

Once the correct date is set, push the crown back into "0" (zero) position.
NOTE: The date should not be adjusted between the hours of 9pm and 1am.
TO SET THE CHRONOGRAPH
This chronograph is able to measure and display time in 1 second increments up to a maximum of 59 minutes (part H) and 59 seconds (part G).

To start the Chronograph feature, press the Start/Stop Button (part A). To measure split times press the Split/Reset Button (part D) to stop counting.

Press the Split/Reset Button (part D) to reset the chronograph, and the Second Hand (part F), the Chronograph Minute Dial (part H) and the Chronograph Second Dial (part G) will all return to the zero position.

For split time, press the Split/Reset Button (part D) again after stopping the chronograph to restart the chronograph function. Then press the Start/Stop Button (part A) to stop, and the Split/Reset Button (part D) to reset.
Chronograph Reset (includes after replacing the battery)

Pull the crown (part B) out to position “2” when the second hand (part F) is at the 12 o'clock position.

Press the Start/Stop Button (part A) to set the Chronograph Second Hand (part G) to the zero position. The chronograph hand can be advanced rapidly by continuously pressing the Start/Stop Button (part A).

Once the Chronograph Second Hand (part G) has been set to the zero position, push the crown (part B) back into "0" (zero) position.
IMPORTANT - Before using the stopwatch, make sure the crown is set at the “0” position and that the stopwatch hands are reset to the “0” position. If the stopwatch hands do not return to the “0” position, follow the steps above to reset the chronograph.

CHARGING
Charge the watch by exposing it to a light source. DO NOT place it too close to a hot light source or leave it exposed to the sun for a long time, as this can raise the watch temperature and damage the product.
The Chronograph Second Hand can be used to check the power reserve amount.
- Make sure the Chronograph Second Hand is reset at the zero position. Press the reset button for 2 seconds. This will set the hand at the 30 second position and will move to indicate the power reserve amount for 3 seconds.

NOTE - When the energy is reduced to a low level, the second hand moves at 2-second intervals instead of 1-second intervals. Charge the watch as soon as possible by exposing to light.
NOTE - Battery replacement is not necessary for this watch. NEVER replace with a silver oxiede battery as it may explode.
