How do I inflate the Vango Portland Air 400?

Use the included double-action pump to inflate each AirBeam® tube. Ensure all valves are closed before pumping. Do not over-inflate; stop when the beam is firm but not rock hard.

What is the recommended inflation pressure?

The recommended pressure is around 8-9 PSI (0.55-0.62 bar). Use the pressure gauge if available.

How do I deflate and pack the tent?

Open all valves fully to release air. Flip the tent over and press down to expel remaining air. Roll towards the beams to remove air. Pack in the carry bag provided.

Can I repair a puncture in the air beams?

Yes, use a Vango repair kit. Clean the area, apply adhesive patch, and allow 24 hours to cure before inflation.

Is the tent waterproof?

Yes, the flysheet has a hydrostatic head of 4000 mm and the groundsheet 6000 mm, making it highly water resistant.

How many people can sleep comfortably?

The tent is designed for 4 adults in separate sleeping compartments or a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

Are the windows ventilated?

Yes, the Diamond Clear windows have mesh panels that can be opened for ventilation while keeping insects out.
